The Darksaber was a strange lightsaber, a bit of a paradox. If it's blade is black, then how can it be called the "Darksaber?" Ugh, these distractions, I still couldn't concentrate. For the love of Mandalore, let me think about something else! My room was lonely, I cast by gaze over the walls of the room, and I saw how the colour was fading. I didn't have the will to re-do it.
Kanan was still in the med bay, but fortunately he was recovering. He kept on going on about a great evil though... one that was seeking something... but I refused to believe that Ezra had a part to play in it. Why couldn't it all just go back to the way it was before? When we on our own and had no one to answer to? Things were simpler then, but not anymore, and it was all crumbling down.
"No more pain," I murmured to myself. "No more." Then suddenly, a sharp pain pierced through my head and I was locked inside a dream, on the fields of Lothal. Everything was the way it should be, the city was in the distance, bright and prosperous, free of the Empires rein. The sky was clear and the sea could be seen in the distance, but a few feet in front of me stood a familiar figure.
"Ezra..." I started, but it didn't look like he heard me. His back was turned, facing towards the city, his hair was cut short like it was before and he was dressed in his usual orange overalls. "Ezra?" He motioned his head to side slightly, as if he was aware that I was behind him. I walked a few steps closer, until he spoke up. "What are you doing?" He asked, his head still turned.
I stopped and put on a confused expression. "Ezra, what's wrong? Please just come home." There was silence for a few moments before he spoke again. "Ezra is dead." His voice changed slightly, there was another voice underneath his... a woman's voice, young yet it spoke with wisdom. "The Ezra you knew has answered his calling to the dark side." He turned.
My eyes widened and I gasped slightly. His eyes were bright yellow, and his expression was calm. "Now, Sabine Wren. Tell me, what do you see?"
"Not Ezra."
"Yes... you are correct. He is mine now, and he always will be."

"Not yet."

I froze in my place. That voice... I had never heard it before but yet I somehow knew who it belonged to. It's tone low and menacing. I reached for my belt but the Darksaber was no longer there. Panicking, I drew my blasters and spun round, my hands shaking. "Vader," I said, my voice trembling.
His cloak covered his arms, making him look as still as a statue, the only sound coming from his breathing. Then, just before I fired my first shot, a figure flew over my head. Not Ezra... someone else, a woman in a long black dress. Vader ignited his Lightsaber and the two began to fight, the woman screamed with every lightning blast she threw. I turned back to see Ezra standing there, his eyes back to normal, his expression worried. "Sabine, help me," he said before I jerked awake.
I was covered in cold sweat, breathing hard and my heart racing, but something felt different this time... like I had been connected to something in that dream. Something that was here, on this moon... whatever it was, it was buried deep beneath the temple. Come to think of it, this hole place had a strange aura around it, something I couldn't quite
place.
"Sabine," Hera was standing in the doorway looking worried. "Kanan wants to see you." I took one last look around my room, then made my way to the med bay where Kanan was lying down on his bed with a bandage over his eyes. "Sabine, take a seat." I sat down next to him on the bed. A few moments silence past until he spoke up, "you've felt it." I raised my eyebrow, how the hell did he find out?
"What do you mean?" Hera left to go work with Zeb. "Ezra, he's calling for help. Whatever happened to him hasn't been done by choice..." I lowered my head, "he still chose to leave us, Kanan."
"Sabine, I know your upset, but if we're going to get him back then you have to help me." I hesitated, "just us? What about Hera and Zeb?"
"The two of them can't help us here. Besides, Hera is preparing for the assault on Lothal." I didn't like the idea of leaving two of my closest friends behind while me and Kanan went looking for Ezra, but if that's what it took... "alright, where do we start?" Kanan gave me a small smile and began to get out of the bed. "Right here, right now."

"Have you seen Sabine and Kanan?"
"No idea, sorry Hera." Zeb was moving supply crates while Hera was logging them as they went. Chopper wasn't doing much but making small grunts and complaining. "Hmm, The last thing we need right now is two more members of our crew going missing." She put down the log sheet and sat down on one of the crates. "Hey, I'm sure there fine. You know what there like."
"Well wherever they are they better get back soon. We're starting the assault tomorrow, and we're gonna need all the help we can get." Zeb put the last crate in place and stood in front of Hera. "Your worried about Kanan, aren't you?" He asked, and I sighed before speaking. "I just don't want him to lose more than just his sight this time." Zeb places his hand on my shoulder, "Kanan's different now. Since Ezra left he's been more secluded, I'm sure he's just working out a way to get him back.
"Imhope your right, Zeb. For all our sakes."

"So, there's a Force Ghost inside this temple?" Kanan took out his lightsaber. "I think it's more than just a Force Ghost, I think it's guarding something." I took out the Darksaber to examine it. "So the Darksaber is a unique lightsaber, is it the only unique lightsaber?" Kanan was silent for a moment, then spoke. "Back Just after the Jedi Order was destroyed, I remember reading something in my Holocron about this place. It's sacred, not to the Jedi, but to the Sith, or it
was."
"What do you mean?" I asked. "I'm not entirely sure, the Holocron was very vague, for obvious reasons, but I know that there's something here, something important, and there's something guarding it.
"And you think Ezra's after it?"
"I think that Ezra is being forced to go after it. Whatever it is we need to go find it before he does, so let's get looking."
