The Prochecy of Three

Chapter Four

Ambers PoV

I walked to the art studio and pulled out my phone. I called my mom to ask if I could have Kinley and Jess over to stay the night.

"That's fine just no boys," my mom had said. I was just glad they wouldn't be there when the guys came. I stepped in side to find my art teacher finishing up the earlier class.

"Hey Ken," I said as I walked in and picked up the painting I worked on last time.

"Hey Amber you can get started early everyone else won't be here for another fifteen minutes," he said as I began to get the paints out. I was currently working on a picture of some orchids with a grey back ground. I heard the door open and Dustin stepped in he picked up his painting and sat next to me.

"Hey Amber," he said looking at me. He had short brown hair that was gelled,  he had blue eyes that turned to green every so often.

"Hey" I said. I didn't want to talk much I just wanted to think about what had just happened. Next thing I knew every one was there laughing and joking around.

"Hey Amber you've been really quiet whats up?" Cameron asked looking at me across the table. She had blue eyes and blond hair. She was like a little ball of energy, she was by far the happiest person I've ever met.

"Nothing just really tired" I said faking a yawn. I worked on my painting the rest of class till it was time to go. I said bye to Ken and walked out.

It was cold but I liked it. I started to run, the feeling of running made me feel amazing. It helped me clear my mind and refreshed me. I ran up the front steps to my house unlocked the door and stepped inside. Lucy was there to greet me, she had a look in her face like 'did he really call me fat earlier?'. I leaned down and scratched under her chin.

"You are not fat Lucy don't listen to him, he's only mad because I pinned him down." I told her and walked up the stairs.

Just then did I realize how tired I was, I walked in to my bedroom grabbed my pajamas which included a tank top and grey and white polka dotted pajama pants. I took a nice long shower brushed my teeth and hopped in bed. Lucy jumped up and curled up near my chest and fell asleep I was always scared to sleep, I always had really bad nightmares when I slept. I would wake up screaming and sweating. I took a deep breath and tried to relax. I eventually fell asleep .

I woke up to the sound of my the doorbell I got out of bed to answer it. I opened the door and Jess and Kinley stood there staring at me.

"Your not ready yet?! School starts in twenty minutes!" Jess said

"Oh my gosh," I said as I rushed up the stairs and into my room. Kinley and Jess right behind me. I threw open my closet and looked around for something to wear. I decided on and old martial arts tournament tee shirt black jeans and my high tops I quickly changed and turned around Kinley and Jess were sitting on my bed petting Lucy. I grabbed my brush and brushed out my hair, grabbed my back pack and grabbed my jacket.

"Ok I am ready." I said as I walked out of the door and down the stairs. I went to the kitchen and looked around for an apple. I looked up from the fruit bowl to find Jess looking through the fridge and Kinley eating cookies from the pantry. "You need more food," Jess stated bluntly. "Yea what ever let's go we're gonna be late," I said walking out the door.

It was a ten minuet walk to school and it started in five minutes. So we had to run. We rushed In to the building when I stopped suddenly. Jess and Kinley turned around and looked at me. "Guys I think I know why I over slept." I said realizing I wasn't as tired as I usually was.

"I didn't have any nightmares last night!" I said as I skipped to my locker. We had to rush to our classes to avoid being late. School went by faster then I had expected. At lunch I told Jess and Kinley that they could come over and that Blake was going to explain every thing. The seemed really excited. When it was time for soccer practice we changed into our uniforms and started warm up drills. I felt amazing I had slept so good last night that soccer practice went by in a breeze. Kinley Jess and I were walking home in silence when Jess piped up,

"What do you think the prophecy is about?" She asked as she kicked a rock down the side walk.

"I don't know but seems really important." I replied we walked up the steps to my house and I unlocked the door.

"So when do think they're coming?" Kinley asked flopping down on the couch. "I don't but we should have a girls night when they leave, I think we need to get our minds of things." I said. We had watched a movie when I went to the kitchen to find something to snack on. Jess went to take her and Kinley's stuff to my room. Kinley stayed in the living room looking at Netflix. I heard Jess yell from my room.

"Yo Amber can I borrow one of your books for English class?!" She yelled down.

"Sure just make sure you put it back!" I yelled. Then I heard Kinley yell from the Living room

  "Hey Amber make me some noodles!" She yelled back so decided to yell 

  "No get off your lazy butt and make your own dang noodle!" I yelled

"Your no fun your seriously gonna make me get up and go all the way to the kitchen and make my own noodles?!" She asked,

"Yeah I am!" I yelled.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and I grabbed the wrist and pulled behind the persons back and slammed them in to the wall. I looked at who it was and saw a wide eyed Flint. I heard a thump up stairs and I heard Blake yell

"Get off me!" From the living room I heard one of the vases break, and a very loud "OW!!" I let go of Flint and walked to the living room. I saw shards of what used to be an old vase, and Kinley standing over a knocked out Danny.

"I think they're here!" I heard Jess yell down as I saw Blake walk down the stairs with a bump on his head.

"Glad your not the only one who can do that," Blake stated sarcastically looking at me. I heard Jess run down the stairs she stopped at the fourth step from the bottom and jumped. Which made Danny jump.

"Ok note to self do not sneak up on a girl." Flint said acting like he was writing something down

"I second that!" Danny stated.

"Ok let's get started, but first anyone want anything to eat?" I asked.

"I want my noodles!" Kinley said getting up and walking to the kitchen. I followed her grabbing an apple off the counter. We settled in the living room sitting on the couch two arm chairs and on the floor. Lucy came down the stairs and curled up on my lap.

"Ok so what's this prophecy say?" I asked looking at Blake.

He looked at Danny and Flint "Well here goes nothing" he said

"The three shall be victorious Air, water and fire shall reign after the mighty battle. For if they fail the forth shall prevail." He finished. Kinley and Jess and I all looked at each other. That's when I realized that this was not for real. They really expected our help
