Jess's POV

Kinley had just ended her mind conversation with Amber, and we were just waiting to leave. Flint, Adam, and I were standing around the campfire waiting for Kinley and Blake. I saw Kinley emerge from our tent carrying Ambers bow and quiver along with her arm guard.

She walked over and handed them to Adam who politely took them and swung them both on to his back.

Adam was tall and kind of muscular with chocolate brown hair and ocean blue eyes. He was very sweet and helped welcome us to camp when we first arrived.

All we were waiting for was Blake. We saw him exit his tent and approach us.

"Are we all ready to go?" he asked. We all nodded.

"Alright gather around", he said motioning for us to come closer.

We did as instructed and he threw the powder in the air and it rained down on us. It felt like we were being sucked through a vacuum. Then we hit the ground with a thud.

I looked around in aw. We were standing in front of a large brick mansion. It looked old, it had vines growing up the sides and the grass was extremely long. There was a fountain in the middle of what would be the drive way. I snuck a glance at Blake and saw a mix of emotions. Anger, fear, and sadness.

"Alright lets get Amber out of this hell hole", he said before marching right up the front steps and banging on the front door.

I expected people to jump out and start fighting or some kind of traps to go off but what happened next surprised me.

Blake kept on pounding on the front door to the point of where it just caved in. He looked down then back up and stepped in to the house.

Kinley gave me a look that said 'is he alright?' I just shrugged and followed him. As I walked in I realized the inside looked better than the outside did. Which surprised me considering the outside side looked amazing.

There was a staircase straight to the left. And to the right of the stairs there was a door way that led to a huge kitchen. There was another door way that led to a big dinning room with a chandler that hung in the middle of the table.

Once I lefted the dinning room I made my way down a magnificent hallway the ended in the living room. There was a huge fireplace with a cozy looking couch and arm chairs.

I was brought out of my thoughts as a searing pain shot through my head. I fell to my knees screaming. Flint ran in followed by Adam. They knelt beside me but looked utterly confused.

In the opposite room I heard Kinley's screams and Blake asking if she was alright. The pain refused to go away until it got to the point that I saw black dots dancing in my vision. It eventually led to complete darkness.

                                  ~◆~

I awoke to the sound of voices. I was very confused.  I had no idea where I was or who these people where.

"What ever happens to one I bet happens to the other two. So my guess is that Amber is being torchered or someones messing with her powers if Kinley and Jess can feel it", I heard Blake explain to someone.

Then all the memories cam flooding back. Amber being kidnapped, us coming to save her, and then the extreme pain.

I sat up slowly looking around. I was in the living room on the floor infront of a fire going in the fire place. I looked beside me to see Kinley beginning to stir.

The guys had noticed and rushed to help. They helped me stand just as Kinley began to sit up. After we were both standing and able to walk,

"What do we do now? Ambers obviously not here theres actually no one here but us", I asked looking at Blake.

He started to pace back and forth. He did this for awhile until he stopped and looked out one of the windows. He ran over and gazed out of it. His eyes suddenly lit up.

"I'll bet they're keeping her there", he said pointing to something outside.

I walked over and looked to where he was pointing. There was a warehouse about a mile to the south.

"Well what are we waiting for lets go!" I yelled and took off towards the door  everyone right on my heels.
