Kinley's PoV

I ran into Jess's house and ran up the stairs but halfway up I tripped and fell. I heard Jess laughing from her room right across the hall.

"Shut up Jess you left your shoes on the stairs." I yelled at her. I got up and walked to her room. I walked in and plopped down in a bean bag chair near her bed.

"Jess we need to talk about this." I said hoping she would give in.

"What's there to talk about some guys show up tell us were magical and they expect to believe them." Just then I heard the front door open and Amber walked up the stairs and into the room, she sprawled across Jess's bed.

"What are you talking about?" She asked.

"Why Jess won't give these guys a chance." I said glaring at Jess.

"Again what is there to talk about." Jess asked,

This time Amber sat up and said "We should at least give them a chance, I think it would be exciting." There was an awkward silence.

"GAY BABY!!!!!." I yelled breaking the silence.

We all burst out laughing. After the laughter died down Jess said,

"Alright Iam in I'll give it a chance." She said.

"Alright let's go talk to them." I said getting up.

"Wait what about our parents what are we gonna tell them?" Jess asked.

"The guys will probably have an answer on that." Amber said as she walked out the door.

"Wait" she said as she stopped quickly, and looked down were still in out soccer uniforms.

"Iam gonna run home and change well meet up in 15 minutes back at the café." She said walking towards her house, as we walked towards ours.

Jess and I parted ways and I walked in to my house. I looked down at my dirty uniform it had grass staines and dirt everywhere. Ever since seventh grade Kinley Amber and I had been on the same soccer team. We loved the sport and we made an amazing team. I walked up the stairs and into my room.

It was painted white with flowered picture frames hanging on the walls. I had a bunk bed with a white head board. And a desk in the corner, there was a bathroom that was connected to the room it consisted of a shower a toilet and a sink. Connected to that was my closet. I walked in to my closet thinking of what to wear. I was thinking about what had just happened, my best friends and I were part of a life saving prophecy that could bring peace to a waring world. 'Wow' I thought , that was a lot to take in.

I looked back at my closet. I picked an old dance shirt and threw it on. I had been dancing since I was little. Dancing is everything to me it dosent matter what kind whether its jazz ballae or hip hop. I walked to my dresser and picked out some jeans and put them on. I walked out of my room and down the stairs. I grabbed a cheese stick from the fridge and walked to the basement.

I opened the little gate that kept the ferrets from running around. We had five ferrets, most people didn't like them but my family and I loved them. There was Stormy the first ferret we got. Then there was Bear and Thunder the next two we had received. Then there was Chester he only had three legs but he was happy and kept up with the others. Then there was Scarlett She was a baby and she was probably the cutest. I walked to their food bowls and filled them said a goodbye then walked up the stairs. I put on my favorite pair of sneakers wrote a note to my parents saying that I was at Ambers house working on a project.

I then walked out of the door and down the sidewalk. I saw Jess walking out of her house towards me.

"Hey we should meet Amber at her house and walk there together," she said.

She was wearing a pretty yellow top with jeans and her pair of cowboy boots on. She had her hair pulled up into a pony tail.

"Alright let's go," I replied putting my hair up into a twisty bun. We walked to Ambers house as we walked into the drive way she walked out locking the door behind her. She was wearing a pair of skinny jeans a grey frilly tank top that was higher in the front and lower in the back her auburn hair was down around her shoulders and she was wearing a beanie. To finish the out fit she was wearing a pair of high tops.

"Hey," I said

"Ready to go?" Jess said finishing my sentence.

The three of us had been friends since third grade and we usually knew what each other we're thinking, but know one else could figure it out.

"Yup lets go," she said as she walked beside us down the side walk. This is going to be interesting I thought to my self.
