Nobby

You've all been waiting for this

A/N: I DO NOT OWN THIS PICTURE! I believe this is one of the sketches Nick Park and the writers did on what Nobby would've looked like in the film. Nobby is NOT an OC of mine or anyone's. According to the directors, in the original script he was Ginger's little brother. But sadly Dreamworks had Nobby removed in order to make the film less cute. Most of this page will be info and my thoughts on this character. 

Nobby actually lasted a lot longer than expected till near the end, just before the film was completed. The directors and filmmakers claim they'd been holding onto this character for a long time and it was very hard to let him go.

I'm kinda glad Nobby's not in the movie, but there's another part of me where i'm very disappointed and... I WISH NOBBY WAS IN THE MOVIE!!! 

I mean this movie had it's dark moments and was scary enough as it was to some children without Nobby in it. It is a kids movie after all, and I bet Nobby would've made a great character if he was included and would've brought a lot of potential to Chicken Run. 

But even though he's not in the movie, what would've been a good reason he could've been mentioned at least? My personal theories for that are- Nobby was either killed by the guard dogs, or sold to a different farm. 

I personally think Nobby would've been great in the movie and make more of what Chicken Run has become.

In the original script, Nobby also had a pet caterpillar named Grubber, who later turned into a butterfly near the end of the film.    

I wish they made a little plushy of Nobby so I could add him to my new collection of CR plushies. 

I also added Nobby in my crossover version of Chicken Run. 

I personally think it's not too late to bring Nobby back-  

I had my own idea if Aardman ever did a Chicken Run sequel. Ginger should at least mention about Nobby and explain what happened to him in a flashback or something. Or maybe Nobby could possibly be introduced as a new character. Another thought, Ginger goes on a mission, traveling off the sanctuary to find her long lost brother.

Questions for all of you guys- Who do you think would've made a great voice actor for Nobby? 

What would you think would've happened if they had kept Nobby in the movie? Would Chicken Run have been more cute or popular and less scary to some kids?
