A/N: This is just a page for my CR thoughts, because I didn't know anywhere else to put this junk. These are mainly just some dumb thoughts of mine I thought i'd share, including questions I've asked myself various times. Enjoy! :)
Does anyone else ever wonder what it would've been like if Chicken Run was a Disney film? (I can't be the only one). Kinda makes me glad that it's not.
Recently, after many months of searching the webs, I finally got my very own CR plushies of Ginger, Rocky, and Mac. And they are adorable!!!
Not too long ago, I tried playing the CR theme song on the piano (I didn't get very far but i'd say it was pretty good).
One time, my best friend and I were thinking about a gender-swap for this movie (like you see for Disney movies in fan art, pics, and vids, etc). But then we quickly realized how weird/freaky that would be.
Another thought of mine one time was a live-action remake to the movie.
For those of you who ask, "Yes, I watch Chicken Run very frequently these days". (I mean who wouldn't? It's such a silly movie that always brings a smile to my face.)
I've always wondered what the CR main title theme would've been like if they added lyrics and had the chickens singing. This made me think CR deserves it's own song at the end of the movie, that would play during the credits (kinda like those themes you always hear in a Disney movie or whatever). But I can see why the animators didn't have the chickens sing in the movie though. I'm sure it would've been too much hard work and complications for them.
I've also wondered and done a few rough draft sketches of what the chickens would look like in their human forms and the Tweedys in their chicken forms. Plus i'd draw my OC's, like Kali in chicken form also.
I have a whole notebook of my CR artwork, although I don't have any kind of artwork account to show it on, plus I really don't want to anyway. No matter how perfect my CR artwork really may be to others, it always turns out better the way how I picture my drawings of the chickens in my head (you know what I mean). Plus sketching pics of Kali(My OC) in clips of the movie is hard enough. But I will share with you one of my favorite pieces of artwork that i'm most proud of-
I took this out of a coloring book. This took me almost 3 hours to get the colors right and not go beyond the lines. Anyway I had a lot of fun drawing this.

For those of you asking about the autobiographys, I don't plan on doing anymore, unless you guys want me to. It's just that I don't think that much about the other chickens backgrounds (Shame on me). For instance, Babs and Bunty would have very similar stories to Ginger. And as for Fowler, the only thing I think about him is that he spent most of his life in the RAF and was probably sold to the Tweedys farm after they retried him from the RAF.
When I was looking for things to get myself for Xmas last year I wanted to see if I could add to my Funko POP figures collection. But when I looked through all the possible websites for Chicken Run POP figures, they had NONE! (It was no surprise to me though). It made me think, wouldn't it be great if Funko did figures not just for Chicken Run but all of Aardman's movies, like Wallace and Gromit, Creature Comforts, Shaun the sheep, Flushed Away, etcetera (I know I would definitely buy them). Unless if I could do a custom made on them (which would most likely be impossible).
I've noticed CR only has like 2 video-games, EVER! So I just had the thought if they made more short, simple, computer games for CR or whatever. Like solving puzzles, trivia, a maze run, escaping from the pie machine, or an arcade game, etcetera. Or even those whole make your own universe kind of games (like Disney Infinity). Where players can make their own chicken/human/other character and help out the chickens with escape plans, etcetera (kinda almost like a simulator game, but not really). Then I had my own personal dumb idea in my imagination, and ONLY for that it's gonna STAY that way. A short CR interactive game involving my OC Kali (I got inspired after I completed my CR crossover, and from some Disney interactive games I used to play). Plot-(This takes place after the movie) The chickens (Mainly Rocky and Ginger) are captured by the Tweedys, who want revenge with them. It's up to Kali to go on an action packed mystery adventure all throughout England, solving puzzles to help find and rescue the chickens from her evil aunt and uncle before they're turned into pies. -(Or introducing a new chicken character to rescue the main chickens).
"The CR Tour"- I had this for an idea I was gonna put on another page, but decided to cancel it (It would take too much work for me anyway). Rocky and Ginger give the readers a tour of Aardman studios on what the people there do, and how they made the movie.
Another idea I had that was dropped- Have the chickens watch and review their own movie. Like Director's commentary but with chickens... CHICKEN COMMENTARY YEAH!!!
Another thing I was planing to do on another page but dropped it. I call it "Ginger VS The Cow Vs The Pig VS The Turkey" and so on~ (Not the best title, I know). It was an idea I got on how after CR was first released it became a bit of a problem to some people to stop eating chicken. Ginger and her fellow chickens protest against other meat food animals, mainly the popular Cow, Pig, Turkey, etcetera. Arguing which not to eat. (I also got inspiration from a drawing I found on DeviantArt).
CR also gave me inspiration to sketch some pics for a series I made up, based off of the movie. Title names include such as: "Farm Run" (farm animals trying to escape their fate by become our food). "Puppy Run" (featuring dogs trying to escape a puppy mill). "Ocean Run" (marine-life animals trying to escape their captivity in an aquarium). "Circus Run" (circus animals trying to escape their abusive lives of performing tricks) etcetera.
Makes me think since I first saw the movie as a little kid "Do I ever wonder what chickens really do when you're not looking?" To be honest, Yes I have, (a few times back when I was little) *smiles.
What do I think came first, the chicken or the egg?....? What do you guys think?
*IMPORTANT NOTE: I want you all to know that real soon I plan on adding the CR characters in some of my other future crossovers (I love these guys so much, I just had to add them in sometimes). (One of the main reasons is we haven't seen these characters in years, some of us are a little upset with that, myself included. Blah, Blah, Blah, plus this helps keep me entertained when I write by adding them in). I already had ideas in mind but I want to ask what you guys think, cause I believe a good author would ask their fans what they'd like to see. I will give you a sneak peek though, the main chickens will be featured in upcoming crossovers i'm currently working on, like Wallace and Gromit and Barnyard. (And maybe even a possible Shrek crossover. Cause I've personally always wanted to do one of those, wondering what it would be like if the chickens met Shrek). But i'll let you guys decide on that one.
Any suggestions?, feel free to leave ideas for the future.
