A/N: I dedicate this Prologue for the Little Prince, a book written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Remember that you are not alone. You will forever be our Little Prince who taught us not to become a grown-up but to become an adult instead.

Prologue

Year 2004

Third Person's POV

'A golden-haired little prince wants to return home to his tiny planet and his beloved flower. The way this is done, apparently, is to get bitten by a poisonous desert snake. This method sounds dubious to the narrator, but the prince is all about it. The snake bites the prince, who then collapses and disappears.'

Fiammata has always been curious about the Little Prince's adventure in different planets. She wondered how come a little Prince could own an asteroid and lived alone for years. He must be very lonely, she thought. They said that it is not yet confirmed if the little Prince is alive somewhere.

So she made a swear to her 4 year old self that she will look for the Prince and make him the happiest Prince ever lived, even if it's just a mere tale.

She looked at the picture book for the last time before the day ends and stared at the little Prince. She was amazed by his small frame, like he's fragile yet has a strong heart.

His golden hair left a big impression to the 4 year old Fiammata. It was her first time to see someone who has a golden hair that shines like a real gold. His eyes are olive green unlike her who has blue eyes. Her eyes are like the river of Nile that she have read a while ago about the Pharaoh of Egypt.

"My Little Prince, I promise to look for you and I will make you happy." She said with a hint of excitement in her tone.

She closed the book and turned off the lampshade beside her bed. She lay down on her bed, sleeping beside her is her cousin, Cristina. She hugged the picture book against her chest and darkness consumed her.

Happiness was written all over her face because for the first time she felt something warm inside her chest. Little did she knew that the 4 year old Fiammata fell inlove with the Little Prince already.
