They're still staring at each other as the last notes of the song play out, while I, dumbstruck, look intently between the two. Normani is visibly breathing heavily, rightfully so after such a commanding performance. Her focus is not on the crowd that's giving her a standing ovation, no, its on the new comer standing to my right. Arin. Arin Freaking Ray.

Camila P.O.V:

I grab Dinah's hands in mine to stop her from clapping and get her attention. She gives me a puzzled look in till I turn to my right and point out Arin. 

"Oh my gosh what is he doing here doesn't he know this is a cheater free zone" Dinah yells and step out of the booth. I quickly tell Lauren and Ally and soon we're a few steps behind Dinah who's heading straight toward Arin. "Look what the dog dragged in and it looks like your two partners in crime are missing too" says Dinah menacingly while poking him in the chest.

"Uhhh Dinah its cat, look what the cat dragged in"  Lauren interrupts causing Dinah to break her demeanor and cast her a confused glance. "You know since cats... the phrase... never mind. Like Dinah was trying to say what are you doing here Arin?" We all look at him expectantly and just as he's about to respond Audrey walks up with Remington in tow. Remington helps us with choreography and a little bit on our EP, he's super talented and one of the nicest guys I've ever met.

"Oh Arin you're here Simon told me you we're coming in till tomorrow morning, its nice to see you" Audrey says cheerfully as she breaks through our half circle around Arin to greet him with a hug. Wait, Audrey's behind this? This doesn't make any sense why would Simon send Arin to Audrey? "Girls I was planning on telling you later tonight but -" Audrey says in till she's interrupted.

"Tell us what and why is he here?" Normani walks up to our group and stands by Lauren, eyes never leaving Arin's. "Well I was just about to tell ya'll now so good timing, Arin is here to collab with you guys and help think of some new dance moves for the next few of weeks" Audrey tells us, as much as I want to listen to her all I can think about is Normani and wonder how she must be feeling right now. "Simon and I thought it would be nice to have a  mini XFactor reunion, plus Arin's working on his music during this period so being around the group will help him and he can ask you all any questions he might have! Won't this be fun!" Audrey claps and leaves for her booth with Remington leaving us girls and Arin alone. 

"It's nice to see you girls again" Arin flashes his infamous dimpled smile. "Afraid I can't say likewise" Dinah chides and Lauren gives her a high five. "Okay look I know I deserve that, but we'll be working together for a little while sooo for the meantime we should try to at least get along" he breaks his staring war with Normani to flash us all and Dinah in particular a smile. "Now if you girls don't mind I'd like to talk to Normani for a second, I'd hate to start this with awkwardness." Arin charms while reaching for Normani's hand, she avoids his reach by crossing her arms and I smirk internally. "Looky here Gatsby, I hope you don't think you can come back and charm your way back  hoping to make us forget cause that won't work." Dinah snarks and Arin's smile quickly falls from his face and he audibly gulps. "You see the five of us are even closer now, they're practically my sisters. If you do anything to hurt any of us so help me, you'll wish twitter is where it would happen! Jackson 5 lookin-" Dinah says as she storms off back towards our booths Lauren and Ally following behind, I linger a bit. 

"Stay" Normani says quietly lightly grabbing my arm as I reluctantly turn away to go. I try not to show my excitement as I stand next to her both of us facing Arin. "Um Normani I'd be more comfortable if only-" Arin starts to say but Normani stops him. "No, anything you say to me can be said in front of her" I can't help but smile a bit when hearing that.
