Chapter 6: Ice Skating to Flirt

Matt's POV

"Another succesfull day of shooting!" I threw my arms around Karen and Arthur who were smiling at me.

"Yah! Why don't we go somewhere? Invite Levi as well?" Karen winked at Arthur. They were still on the bet I guess.

"Sure. I bet she'll come!" I skipped to my trailer and saw Levi on my macbook, browsing through her twitter.

"Hey there Levi!" I chirped.

"Hey Matt." She said, not taking her eyes off the computer.

"Wanna go out somewhere? With Karen and Arthur." I added.

"Yah. Sure. I'll just change." She pushed me out with a smile and locked the door.

"Sure thing Lev. Sure thing." I smiled whistfully at myself, pocketing my hands.

In a few minutes, Levi was wearing a Captain America shirt, jeans and blue sneakers. Her long brown hair in a pony tail.

"You look nice." I commented.

"No. Just took out the first thing I saw." She made a face. "But I love my Captain America shirt."

"Okay Miss Rodgers. Off we go." I took her wrist and led her where Karen and Arthur were waiting.

"Nice shirt." Arthur said.

"Yah. Now," Karen clapped her hands. "Where do you want to go?"

"How 'bout the ice rink?" Levi suggested.

"I miss ice skating." Karen said. "It's been such a long time."

"But where do we eat?" Arthur complained. "I'm hungry!"

"Here Arthur." Levi tossed him a sandwich from her bag.

"Thanks. But dinner?" Arthur said.

"There's a food court at the rink. There's also a bowling alley there." Levi said.

"The public will go crazy if they see us there." Karen said, suddenly doubting the decision.

"It's always empty. Probably be the only ones there." Levi reassured her.

"Mmm... fine." Karen said. "It'll be so worth it!"

We took a cab, wearing our hoodies when we saw the cabbie had a TARDIS charm.

We paid the cabbie and walked to the rink, noticing it was empty. Weird. It was a pretty decent rink.

"Let's skate first." I grabbed Levi's wrist and went to the stand where they held oll the ice skates.

"Size?" The guy asked.

"Six and a half." Levi chirped.

"Seven." I said.

He gave us the skates and I dragged her to the ice rink.

Levi's POV

I followed Matt to the rink, skating with ease and grace. Matt on the other hand kept landing on his bum.

"Need help?" I skated to his side, offering my hand.

"In movies, the guy usually does that." Matt said taking my hand.

"Well, this ain't no movie." I replied smiling at him then skating away.

God. That sounded like I was flirting! My boyfriend really rubbed off me. I thought.

"You there!" Karen went in the rink skating with diffuculty but she managed anyways.

"Hi!" I skated around her, stopping when I felt dizzy.

"You know alot." Karen commented.

"Took ice skating lessons when I younger." I said.

"Well, I had a few lessons but atleast I'm not like the boys." Karen giggled looking at Matt and Arthur holding to eachother like their lives depended on it.

"Oi! Love birds!" I yelled.

They looked at me, legs shaking, gritting their teeth.

"We're not lovebirds." Arthur spat out.

"Look at yourselves!" Karen said skating to them. "Looking at eachother with such pa-"

"Not. Gay." Matt said through gritted teeth.

"Fine." I swooped in and held Matt's arm, slowly teaching him.

"Just glide. Let your left foot push your body." I instructed.

"I'm trying." Matt said.

"Do it as if you're wearing socks in a newly polished house." I said. "Like that."

Matt smiled and was able to skate for a while before colapsing again.

"Arthy! I was able to skate!" He said happily.

"You're such a child." Arthur chuckled while Karen taught him.

"But I'm hungry, and hungry skaters are the worst kind." Matt grabbed my arm and skated to the exit. We took off the skates and walked to the food court.

We ordered fish and chips and hotdogs. I also got apple pie.

"Why pie?" Matt asked hungrily gobbling his hotdog.

"Pie is the most tastiest thing in Earth." I replied.

"I'm more of a cake person." Matt said.

"I like carrot cake." I said.

Matt's POV

"Yah. What kind of pie is that?" I asked.

"Apple." She replied. "Want some?"

"I like chocolate. But I'll try apple." I took a bite from Levi's pie and I grinned.

"Tasty isn't it?" Levi asked smugly.

"I love it." I said.

"There you guys are!" Karen took a seat beside Levi and Arthur sat beside me.

"Just eating pie!" I chirped.

"Pie!?" Arthur gaped. "I tried telling you it was good for years and now she came along and she managed you to eat pie!?"

"Persuasion from you was different." I said twirling my fork. "Replacing my cake with pie, cooking a pie making it look like cake on the outside- should I go on?"

Arthur grumbled but cracked a small smile nobody couldn't notice except me.

Levi, I guess you're my soulmate.

A/N: When Matt meant Soulmate, he doesn't mean gf and bf. The rollercoaster had just departed.
