"Ugh!" Nicki threw her hands up in frustration ready to walk away. "Nonono wait" Nas said quickly pulling her back by her hand "I hear you loud and clear. I just want to know why" he explained to her she sighed and attempted to calm herself. "I just wanna go home for my birthday and celebrate it there. You kinda just threw me onto a plane baby, if I'm going to live here I'd at least like to have my things." By now she had circled around him stopping to sit in her favorite place, on his lap. "Nic one I don't even know why you didn't mention your birthday to me at all. And two you asked on such short notice" he reminded her. She frowned realizing her own shyness had brought her to this problem. "I know I just...I avoid it and jay convinced me to try and celebrate it this year because I wasn't alone and that's all I really wanted I guess" she shrugged. He rubbed her thigh giving a frustrated groan "you lucky I love you Onika. But I'm mad at you , hoe you not gon tell me about your birthday?" He asked her. She laughed and kissed him "don't take it personal, I honestly forgot about it myself until jay said something about his." She told him truthfully "they probably think I'm dead I hope they didn't touch anything in my house. She thought aloud realizing everything she had left behind was probably up for grabs.
Nas soon walked into their room after ending a phone call with his usual pilot , of course he was sued to the last minute calls like this so it wasn't a problem to accept the arrangement.
"Do you think I need to bring clothes?" She asked him "you know since my house should be filled with my things anyways". "Well they kind of think you died in a bombing so I suggest you do "Nicki
I felt strange going back ... I don't even know why I'd want to go back to where everything happens and "celebrate" my birthday. I don't know what to expect because when I freak out about my mom I flip a switch. I didn't want anyone to see that side of me , I might say things and knowing Nas temper I might set him off. I sighed and looked at the suitcase he had given me "baby you wanna pack for me?" I sighed laying down. I felt lazy all of a sudden he laughed and pulled me down the bed "you lucky it's almost your birthday" he said to me. I smiled and gave him a quick kiss before helping him pick out clothes for me. I avoided the sexy designer shit and gravitated towards the more down to earth toned dresses and skirts. He came to lay beside me once he was done and I played with his hand "this dont a birthday gift it doesn't count" he said to me. I rolled my eyes "Nasir it counts and I won't accept another one" I said to him. I got on top of him and let him rub my thighs, I loved when he did that. "You making me feel bad."I don't mean too, we can like go out or something but I don't exactly want someone yelling happy birthday in my face tomorrow" I tried to explain to him. Unneeded to ease into this and pray for a different reaction. "Get some sleep we leave early tomorrow" he said
I looked over my outfit once again before finally meeting Nas and jungle downstairs , of course they'd tried to suppress the happy birthday comments like I had asked but I knew they were dying to say it. We got into the car and Nas put a brown box in my lap , "that precious cargo, don't drop it and don't ask wh-"
