Payton and Tessa

''Do you wanna go to prom with me?''

I brought Tessa home with me couse we had to get some rest. 

''This was wierd.'' she said while we were sitting on the couch.

''Yeah. Hey why don't you sleep over tonight.'' i said turning on the TV.

''Ok, i just need to call my mom.'' she went into the kitchen to call her mom leaving me alone in the living room. Suddenly my phone rang and it was Kevin. Shit, what am i gonna say to him?

''Hello", i answered.

''Payton, are you okay?'' he sounded nervous.

''Yes i'm fine.'' 

''Ian told me that you weren't feeling well and that you left.''

''Yes, yes. That's exactly what i did. My head hurts really bad", I said acting like i was in pain. Nice cover up Ian.

''Why didn't you tell me you were gonna leave? I was worried sick.''

''Oh i'm sorry, my phone battery died.''

''It's ok i guess", he sounded disappointed.

''I'm sorry i left like that. I should have told you, it's just i lost myself and i wasn't feeling right.''

''It's ok, don't worry about it. I know what happened to you earlier so you have an excuse.'' 

''Ok, well see ya. Gotta go.''

''Okay, i will talk to you soon. And we will have to go out on the holidays.''

''We sure will. Ok bye.'' I hung up and at the same time Tessa came in the room.

''Who was that?'' she asked curiously.

''It was Kevin, he wanted to know why we left", I said putting my phone on the table.

''Oh, he worries about you, he seemes like a good cousin.''

''He is. So tomorrow? We could go shopping?'' I asked facing her and she smiled. Tessa loved shopping so much. 

''I would love that. We could buy prom dresses.'' she jumped up and down.

''I know. I can't wait. I dreamed of my perfect prom dress.'' I looked up at the ceiling.

''Mine is gonna be hot pink, to melt the boys' hearts hehe.'' she laughed.

Later we went to bed. It was early but we were tired. I dreamed Ian and that scene with Milo. It was horrible. I woke up in the middle of the night and realized that i just dreamed. It felt so real and i was really scared. Finally i managed to sleep.

My alarm clock woke us up. It was playing a song i really enjoyed. I opened my eyes and saw Tessa dance to the music. At first i tought i was still dreaming but once she started hitting me with my pillow i realized that i was completely awake.

''Tessa, what are you doing so early?''

''What does it look like i'm doing? I'm dancing.'' she screamed.

I quickly got up and went to the bathroom ignoring her. She had her moments in the morning and the wierd part is that she always used to say that she's not a morning person and yet she's dancing and its 8:00 in the morning. I brushed my teeth and got out of the bathroom to see Tessa fully dressed.

''How did you? I was just? You did? What?'' I looked at her then around and i was just confused. This here is a superwoman. She could do things that i never see anyone do and i was always thinking "How?". Guess that's just a talent of hers.

''Come on, get ready,'' she said opening my closet. ''On second thought, i will help you", she smiled turning around to face me while i was standing there still schocked.
