Montecore people are wierd

Tessa's POV

I was looking at Ian while Zoldario was telling me that he is my brother. How is that even possible, we can't be related. Payton will freak when i tell her this. I got up from the floor and I was still staring at Ian.

''What do you mean he is my brother?'' I asked still in shock.

''Well, he is. The same woman gave birth to you. You know how this works.'' he said looking at me, then at Ian.

''Tessa, I can't believe it.'' Ian said sighing.

''I know, i can't believe it eather.'' I said quickly but my voice was a little shaky.

''Wait, do you guys know eachother?'' Zoldario asked. I saw a little bit of fear in Ian's eyes.

''Nope, never saw her in my life.'' Ian said quickly looking away. Why was he lying about this, he knows me very well.

''But you just said her name.'' Zoldario said confused. He was glaring at Ian while Ian tried not to make eye contact with him.

''No i didn't. Grandpa, don't make this even harder than it is. Let's just be happy that our beloved Isabell is back.'' he said hugging Zoldario with one arm.

''Yeah, you're probably right son. Now you can stay with Tessa to have some brother-sister moment.'' and with that, Zoldario walked out of his office and left me alone with Ian, or as i need to call him now, Adrian. We were quiet for some time and than i broke the silence.

''So, it's true. We're siblings now.'' I said looking at Ian who was walking towards a chair to sit down.

''Yeah it's pretty wierd, I could never imagine that it could be you.'' he smiled facing me.

''Why did you lie Ian.'' i whispered.

''About what?'' he asked thinking that I was that stupid to fall for that. He can not make a fool out of me.

''You exactly know what I'm talking about. You said that you never saw me in your life. Is it that horrible to be with me. Are you ashamed that i'm your sister now?'' i said a little bit louder.

''No, not at all. That's not the issue. Actually I'm kinda glad that you're my sister and not some wierd dude. I said it only because I didn't want to let anyone down. You were in front of me the whole time and i didn't recognize you. But i had a distraction so my wizard sences didn't act.'' What was he talking about. I wasn't really interested in his talk but i had to know.

''Why were you distracted?'' i asked crossing my arms.

''It's not important anymore.'' I think i knew what was he talking about. He was obviusly in love with Payton, but why did Zoldario say that Ian saw a girl looking like queen Ansabelle. That girl must have ditracted Ian from finding me.

''Do i have to call you Adrian now?'' i smiled a little.

''Well it depends, do I have to call you Isabell?'' he smiled back.

''No, i kinda don't like that name.'' I said. It was true. When i was little, there was a girl called Isabell who was always picking on me, so i hated the name as much as that girl.

''Fine then, Tessa. How about we go and i will introduce you to your father.'' he said as he was standing up.

''Wait. There is just something that's bothering me.'' i said cousing him to sit back in his chair.

''What's that?'' he seemed relaxed but i'm about to make his heart pop.

''I wouldn't come here if it wasn't for Payton. She fell in the bushes and i needed to save her so i jumped with her. She is the only reason I'm stuck here.'' I said and with that his eyes widened. He was looking at me with a spark in his eye that meant no good.
