Payton's POV

Remi left and I was still lying my my bed, all alone, not knowing what my next move is gonna be. Tomorow i have school and i don't know how should I act around Ian. I guess I lost him forever. But there is maybe something in what Remi said. Maybe Milo isn't Orion. Maybe Orion is some kind of friendly guy who likes people, unlike Milo who want's to ruin everything. It was almost 9pm and i was still in the same position. My eyes were burning and my stomach started to hurt. It was getting worse every second and i thought that it's the end. Maybe Milo found out that I was comunicating with Remi through my thoughts and he is mad. All kinds of emotions including fear were surrounding me. I heard the door open. I was looking at it while someone came in very closely. I started crying as he came in looking worried. I was holding my stomach tight as he came and sat next to me.

"Oh my God, are you okay?" Ian started talking but i couldn't say anything. I had the worst pain every. First I thought that it's my period but no. It was way worse. Like giving birth or something. Ian started panicking when I didn't tell him anything.

"Please Payton, you have to talk to me," He said loudly stroking my hair and I felt chills all over my body. 

"Look, I just wanna know what happened between us and I know that you love me. You can't hide like that," He said as I started crying louder.

"Wait. What is that on your arm?" He asked me while i quickly turned around to see a little tattoo on my wrist. It was a wierd sign on it. It r looked like a heart colliding with the sun but i didn't know what it meant. I was looking at it and I saw light all over the tattoo, and then it quickly disappeared. Imediately, the pain was gone. I was searching for the tattoo but i couldn't manage to find it. I was shocked.

"W-what just happened?" I said while my voice was shaking. I looked at Ian while tears formed in my eyes. He was just looking at me not wanting to turn away.

"Y-you..." was all he said. He looked so nervous yet so calm.

"I what?" I yelled while tears were burstin out of my eyes.

"I can't believe that happened to you," His voice was shaky too. I didn't know was it from fear or something else.

"You mean the tattoo?" I asked once again taking a look on my wrist to see that there is nothing on it.

"Yes. Your mother has the same tattoo on the same place. It shows up when you're the strongest and shows your power. With that tattoo, you can do wonders," His eyebrows quickly raised.

"Really? It's that powerful?" 

"Yes. Much more that you think." He grabed my wrist gently touching it. He was looking it very carefuly.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Well you have to be very careful. If anyone sees that, they will know who you are and they're gonna try to take all of your powers. Especialy a dark wizard." When he mentioned dark wizard, I froze. I started thinking about Milo and his words and i started to think that he's listening. I quickly pulled my wrist away from Ian, and got out of my bed. He looked shocked.

"What happened?" He asked standing up too.

"Umm, I think it's for the best if you just leave." A tear fell out of my eye as I said that.

"But why? Why are you rejecting me like that?" He came closer but I just turned my head away from him.

"I just, can't tell you." I strugled with my words.

"But i wanna help you," he said as he touched my elbow.

"Ian please. Maybe someday you will understand but now just know that I'm doing this for you, to protect you. If I tell you anything..." I stoped holding in my tears.
