The Yakuza Members turned their heads quickly. As soon as they turned, I heard elevator fire start picking up. We had a few minutes before every fire alarm was set off, but I was beginning to hear some in the distance followed by panic. I was starting to heat up. As the members turned, they looked around and started shouting once again in Japanese.

As soon as I saw one of the members reach for a pistol on the table and look at me, it hit me again. That one strong feeling of quickness just hit me in the face. It was as if everything around me had been moving only a quarter an inch a second. As soon as it hit me, I drew my pistol that was tucked in the back of my pants and covered up by my shirt and shot him. His friends had shotguns and they took their aim at me as soon as they saw him on the floor, but they were too late.

2 bullets had gone through both of their chests and they fell over. The other Yakuza's had stormed out of the back room and as soon as I saw the first one, I took cover behind a pillar. A storm of bullets fired behind me followed by Japanese battlecries. I looked to my left and saw the stairs and all I could think was "Come on Fons. Hurry the hell up!". I sat down kept my pistol close.

I went ahead and performed what we wise guys called spray and pray. It's where you take cover and shoot in your shooters direction without looking and hope it hits them. I didn't  see if any of my shots were hit firing them cause I didn't wanna get shot in the face. I kept looking for Alfonso, but he was still not here. I kept hoping nothing didn't happen to him.

A couple seconds after I thought about moving, I saw Alfonso come down the stairs with his pistol and run toward me. He didn't duck down. He ran while shooting at the other Yakuza's and then took cover behind the pillar beside mine. He looked at me and shouted over the bullets "Sorry I was late. The factory workers were panicking when the alarms were going off". He poked his head out to the right side of the pillar.

"Okay! Here's the plan Marty! When I give the signal, run to that emergency exit over there!" He pointed to a door labeled "Fire Exit" to the right of his pillar.
"What about the money?"
"I heard some of the others talking. The money ain't here."
"What!? How?!"
"It's not really here! It's at their HQ in Little Asia!"
"No! Not that! I meant how did you know what they were saying!? All these fucks speak Japanese down here!"
"Oh! One of them was talking to a prisoner they had! Said he tried breaking into this place a couple days ago! Made the mistake of saying too much! That doesn't mean we can't burn this place down though!"
"Alright!"
"Ready?!"
"Ready!"

He waved his hand down as if chopping and I ran over to the door and kicked it open and ran outside into the storm and waited for him. He then came through after I heard some more gunshots from the room. He ran out and found me. We were both slowly getting drenched by the rain.

"Take this!" He handed me a grenade.
"A frag? Where'd you ge-"
"Throw it into that window! There's an ammo box in their and it'll trigger an even bigger explosion!"
"Smart thinking! Cover me!"

I took the grenade and took cover behind Alfonso's Pillar. The storm of bullets died down. I took the grenade and pulled the pin off it. Shit! I could still remember me pulling it too quickly!

I threw it into the window of the office in the back. It went straight in! Fuck yeah! I ran back outside and ran with Alfonso after throwing it. As we were running to the van, he got in the passenger side.

I heard the massive explosion as we reached the van and he took his beret off as I hurried into the drivers seat. I can still remember seeing his black drenched hair move to the side of his forehead. He said "You drive! Go!". I started the car and stepped on the gas. A minute went by and I drove as fast as I could across the bridge and away from the factory that was now burning.

He laughed and took out one of the Thompsons from the backseat. "Keep an eye out Marty! Gonna be more here real soon!"
