Fons and I had walked over to the stairs leading up to the Shogun's Office after a woman, who was Stella's friend, had distracted the man who was guarding it. We quietly went up the stairs and found a big room that looked like a waiting room. No one was there. Alfonso led the way as we approached the door at the end of the room and stopped before he could open it. He turned to me and whispered.

"Take your gun out. I hear 3 people inside. When I open the door, aim it at the first person you see, but not whoever is at the desk. Take down the 2, but leave The Shogun alive. Okay?"
"Okay."
"Be careful with your aim."

He knocked on the door after he took his pistol out and aimed it at the middle of the door. A few seconds later and the door started to open slowly until Alfonso kicked it open with all his might while leaning into the base of the door. The man who answered it had fell backwards with a bloody nose and the man beside him had tried taking his gun out. He couldn't get it out before I put a bullet in his head. He fell over on top of his bloody-nosed friend.

The man with the bloody nose had tried moving his dead friend off of him, but couldn't. I shot him between the eyes. It all happened so quickly. It was like a switch just flicked on and 2 men were dead. Alfonso, who was standing across the desk, had not moved a muscle since he had started aiming at the man at his desk.

He had not moved either. He had a black beard and mustache with long black hair in a pony tail. Dark empty eyes were watching Alfonso carefully while he sat at his desk calmly.

"You have taken longer then expected."
"Not long enough."
The Shogun smirked. "How much do you want?"
"I'm not here for the money. I'm here to take out the trash."
"Oh? Well how are you gonna do that with one arm?"
"Wha-"

Before Alfonso could say "What", The Shogun had swiped his hand out from the side of his desk and stabbed a knife into the side of Alfonso's left arm that was off to his side. I stepped back in shock and gasped as he fell over and screamed holding his arm. The Shogun jumped up quickly and threw something at me with all the strength he could, but something strange had happened. I fired my .45 at whatever he threw at me just as he let go of it. It didn't hit me.

I kept my aim on him after I shot, but he wasn't saying anything. He simply stared at me and made a gurgling noise. Then I saw what happened. He threw a throwing knife at me, but I shot it before it could come close to me. The bullet hit the knife with a force that made it dash backwards and stab into The Shogun's neck.

I stood there in shock as he fell back into his chair trying to remove the knife from his throat. Alfonso had got up and removed the knife from his arm with a shout and walked over to the gurgling dying man and started stabbing him repeatedly in the chest while cursing him.

"Fucking. Stab. Me. You. Stupid. Fucking. Son. Ovva. Bitch! Bitch! Bitch! Bitch! Bitch! Bitch!"

The furious man then grabbed the back of the dead man's head and slammed it down as hard as he could onto the desk. The Shogun's body had fallen after the slam and onto the floor. Blood was all over the papers on his desk and on his carpet. Alfonso held his arm in pain.

"Fons! You okay?"
"I'm fine. Just a scratch."
"He stab-"
"I know he stabbed me! I'm fine."
"His safe is right there. It's wide open."
"Take as much as you want Mart."
"What about you?"
"I got my pay."

He kicked the side of the deadman. I walked over to the safe and took out the huge wads of money and put them in a sack. I kept them close as I walked back over to him.

"What do we do now?"
"Give Stella a wave. Show should be over."
"What about the cops? They'll be all over this place come tomorrow."
"I know a guy. We'll be fine. Go backstage as soon as you give her the signal. I'll be out there with the car."
"Okay. The Jacks will follow."

I ran downstairs with the sack of money and saw the guard at the bottom of the steps. Shit! I had to get him out the way without him seeing me. I grabbed a glass from the waiting room and crept down the stairs slowly and quietly. I threw it over his head and let it crash and shatter on the floor in front of him.

He jumped and went over to investigate the noise. I quickly went over to the bottom of the steps and waved at Stella as quick as I could. She nodded at me as she finished her song. Everyone applauded as I jogged across the room and through the backstage door. I heard her through the speakers.

"Thank you all very much. You're all a lovely crowd. Thank you. Thank you. And goodnight." she bid to the crowd. She met me backstage with the others. "Got the cash. Let's get the hell outta here." I said to her. She ran out the exit door with me and got into the passenger seat with Alfonso in the backseat as I got in the driver seat.

"Marty, it hurts too bad. You drive."
Stella cocked her head back at him as he groaned.
"What the hell happened to him?!"
"He got stabbed in the arm."
"Oh! Shit! Honey are you alright?"
He grunted as she got in the backseat with him. "I'm fine. Just a scratch. Can you patch it up when we get home?"
"Yes. Did you kill the fuck who did it?!"
"You know I did."
"Kid, step on it. He's looking pale."

I started the car and sped down the street with more money then I can count in a sack in the passenger seat.
