The snow stuck to the ground, the lake was frozen a blanket of snow covered the mountains, looking down from the roof she seen the mailman slide papers in the mailbox. He drove of down the icy road to the next house. Wind blew blowing her hair back as goosebumps came upon her olive skin. She noticed her step sister Kate walking out to retrieve the mail. She stopped in the middle of the long drive way that was starting to get covered by snow looking at her youngest sister stand on the highest roof looking around.
"Do be careful." She said knowing she heard her. She turned her body letting her back face her. Kate furrowed her eyebrows. Kate opened the mailbox getting the mail. She looked at the mail getting concerned. She used her speed running back to the house.
"Teddy!" Carmen called. She turned walking down from the rooftop getting in the attic. She walked down the stairs seeing her family in one of the many living rooms they have.
"Yes Carmen?" She softly said. Looking at her she became a little more concerned.
"We've been invited to your cousins wedding." Carmen said Eleazar looked at the card.
"Oh goodie, I finally get to dress my little doll up." Carmen said smiling and touching her step sisters hair. Teddy grinned at her sisters happiness. Teddy wasn't the one to dress up, she left it to her sisters.
"Girls, if you want later on today you can come with me and Teddy, dress shopping." Carmen said. Tanya and Kate nodded.
"And you sir. We'll deal with you later." Carmen said smirking at Eleazar.
"Disgusting." Kate said using her vampire speed leaving the room.
"Gross." Teddy said using her speed to go in her room.
"Get ready ladies!" Carmen said as they all went to different rooms.
Teddy walked around her room removing her clothes. She pulled a black long sleeve over her head pulling it down and pulled up her jeans. Sliding on some knee high boots she walked out followed by Tanya.
"I can't wait to finally do your hair." Tanya said looking at her younger sister. When it came to dressing up and getting fancy she left it to her older sisters. They loved doing it anyway.
"I know Tanya, and don't worry you'll get your chance to design my hair however you want." Teddy said smiling.
"As to I your makeup." Kate said walking down the steps with them.
"Of course." Teddy said getting to the bottom of the steps with her step sisters.
"Ready?" Carmen asked looking at all of them. They all nodded.

"Try this one on, it'll make your eyes pop." Kate said throwing over another dress. It was a mountain of dresses next to her foot.
"Come on Ted, just choose." Tanya said in her authority voice. It went quiet.
"I can't. Maybe I won't go, you guys go and I'll stay." Teddy said trying on another dress.
"Absolutely not, they haven't seen you since you were just a baby, plus Esme and Rosalie is expecting you." Carmen said. It got quiet again. She looked at herself in the mirror pouting, she didn't want to disappoint anyone, she was trying to make everyone happy, she didn't care about her happiness, she cared about her families. She thought about how this could be if she just didn't worry she breathed in and out hyperventilating worrying about all the wrong things. She leaned on the wall sliding down holding her knees to her chest.
