Another week has passed and Chani still acts cold and rude. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

"Bye I'll meet you there" Chani smiles while putting down his phone.

Who is he talking to?

Why does he seem so happy?

He walks out once again without saying a word.

I don't want to waste my time staying at home and crying about Chani the whole day.

My body felt weak. I couldn't cry anymore.

~

I called my closest friend and told him to meet me.

I waited for him at our meeting place.

"y/n?" I looked up to see him smiling at me.

I stood up and hugged him.

"y/n I missed you....I haven't seen you in a year! And...you look so thin. Have you been skipping your meals again?" He says with his eyes full of worry.

"I missed you too. Don't worry about me Hwiyoung I'm doing okay :)"

Hwiyoung sat down beside me.

"So....did you get yourself a boyfriend while I was gone?" He asks.

"I did, but....I don't really know if we're still together" He stared at me in confusion.

"What do you mean?" I sighed and stared the long talk.

I explained about my situation with Chani and he just listens.

"So he hurt you once...but you still  stay with him?" I nodded and looked down.

"What can I do Hwi? I love him. Maybe I should just give him more time" He laughed at me.

"y/n if he hurts you again I'm going to kill him using my own hands-"

My phone started to ring interrupting his talk.

I answered without even looking at the caller ID.

"Y/N COME HOME RIGHT NOW AND MAKE ME DINNER! I DID NOT TELL YOU THAT YOU CAN GO OUT!" Chani shouts through the phone.

Hwiyoung grabs my phone and turns it off. I took my phone back and placed it in my pocket.

"Why do you let him shout at you like that?!" I ignored him and stood up. 

"I need to go Hwi. Don't worry about me. Maybe next time we can spend more time together" I smiled at him and ran home as fast as I could.

Hwiyoung stood there with concern. He could not just let y/n get hurt by some guy.
