"Y/N!! WE GOT IN!!" Hwiyoung shouts at me full of excitement.

"Wait. Are you being serious? How- I mean. What?"

Did I get in?!?! Is he being serious?!

He showed me the letter from the biggest school in California.

I stared at it and let it all sink into me.

We both got in. I felt my smile getting wider and wider.

"WE GOT IN!!" I could not hide my excitement.

I'm going to California to study.

But then it hit me....

I'm going to California. And I'm also going to leave Chani here in Korea.

My smile slowly fades and tears started to form in my eyes.

" I need to see Chani...." Hwiyoung slowly nods. He grabs his car keys as we both get into the car.

"Chani....I got in. I hope this makes you really proud of me." I held his hand and kissed his forehead.

"You probably won't hear me but...I miss you. Please come back." I started to cry and held his hand tighter.

My flight is in two days. I want to hear his voice before I leave.

"Chani, please say something..."

Someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around to see the doctor.

"Miss y/n.....he wanted me to give this to you" He reached his hand out holding an envelope.

"I'll leave you alone for now...." He bowed at me and left.

I went back to my seat and opened the envelope.

I started to read it....

'y/n.....I'm sorry that I made your life miserable. I wasn't a good boyfriend at all. But I would appreciate if you give me a chance to make it up to you.

By the way, I'm saying congratulations in advance. I know you can get in y/n....You don't know how proud I am.

After everything that I did. I'm really sorry.

I know I could lose you, the reason why I'm afraid to fall in love with you

I bend down and kissed his cheek.

"You won't lose me, I love you" I whispered.

As I was about to fold the letter. Something fell out from the envelope.

I pick it up and stared at it.....

It was a polaroid picture of Chani.

I placed it in my bag and stood up.

"I need to go Chani. I love you..."

I walked out the door and saw Hwiyoung sleeping on one of the hospital benches.

'How cute' I thought.

" Hwi, we need to get going...." I tapped him repeatedly but he's still asleep.

"HWI!" I shouted to wake him up.

As soon as he heard me. He rolled of the bench and fell right on the floor.

"Hwi! Are you okay?" He groans in pain while he rubs his back.

"Oww! y/n! Why did you have to do that?!"

"We need to go Hwi..." He followed me out of the hospital and got into his car.

The whole time I was in the car, I couldn't get Chani off my mind.

'Is he going to be okay?'

'Are we still together even if I leave him here?'
