"y/n, Chani has been awake for two months now. He's getting married tomorrow. He says he wants to see you before he gets married. Please be here y/n....Chani needs you" Two months? How did I not know about this?

"How-" I kept on telling myself that what i'm hearing right now is a lie.

I placed my phone in my pocket and went upstairs to pack my things.

I'll get an available flight as soon as I get there.

'I'll be there Chani, I hope you could wait for me'

I rushed outside to get a cab to drive me to the airport.

As soon as I reach the airport, I booked the flight that will be leaving in 15 minutes.

*On the plane

I wasn't really ready to see Chani yet. I haven't even told Hwiyoung about this.

Maybe i'll just call him when I get there.

I woke up as soon as the plane landed.

I got my things ready, and stood up to exit the plane.

I called Chani's mom and asked her where the wedding would take place.

She told me to go to Seoul Flower Garden (lol i just made that up).

I quickly rushed to get a cab to take me there.

I soon as I got in the cab, I thought of how will Chani react if he would see me.

Would he be glad that I was home?

Then I remembered, it was his wedding day.

It hurts to know that I missed out 2 months of Chani's life without even knowing.

What kind of girlfriend am I?

The vehicle stopped telling me that I have reached the place.

I thanked the driver and got out.

The place shocked me. It was beautiful. Decorated with flowers, bows and ribbons everywhere.

I can't believe I'm going to witness the wedding of Chani.

The wedding of Chani and a girl who is not me.

"y/n...you came" a guy in a tux with bright orange hair went up to me.

It took me a while to realize it was Chani.

He looks so different.

He changed a lot.

I didn't hesitate at all and just hugged him.

But the hug felt really cold, he wasn't hugging me back.

I slowly released mysel from him.

"Sorry" I bowed at him.

He smiles at me.

"It's fine, but I just want to remind you that I invited you to come here as a friend"

After he said those words, I just wanted to cry.

"Y-yes, of course" He took my hand and placed it near his chest.

"y/n....my heartbeat doesn't speed up anymore when I see you" I slowly nodded, getting the message he wanted to tell me.

"sorry y/n....I hope you can forget about me and be happy. I already found my happiness with somebody else. I also want to say sorry for what i did to you before..."

He taps my shoulder, turns around and leaves.

I pulled the polaroid out of my pocket.

"CHANI WAIT!" He turns around and faces me.

I run to him holding the polaroid in my hand.

I placed the polaroid in his hand.

"I wouldn't be able to forget you if I would keep that" He nods and leaves me there.

I lost Chani.

I lost my only memory of him, but I knew this was the only way that I can find my happiness.
