Adelyns pov
So it's Friday morning. We don't have school today either, I think it's so they can get things ready for the ending school year. I can't believe I woke up at 10 am on a day we had no school. I decide to get up and take a shower. Then i'll decide what I shall do today.
Nashs pov
Well my bros have asked their girls to formal, now its my turn to ask Adi. We didn't have school today, thank gosh because I have been a nervous wreck since I woke up. I'm going to have Skylynn call Adi and ask her is she will comeover and have a play date with her, but really I'm going to have mom pick her up and bring her to the park. I'll set things up around 6:30, and have my mom get her dropped off here by 7. I already went out and bought her carnations and I have her the neclace I bought. I'm ordering pizza and bringing milk. Now I know why the boys were so nervous. This is stressful. I scratch my head nervously and go talk to Skylynn about tonight.
"Sky!" I say while knocking on her door.
"Yes'm?" She replies.
"Do me a favor?" I ask.
"Whats in it for me?" She asks.
"I'll take you to get icecream and i'll get Adelyn to come." I say.
"Done, what do you need Nashy?" She asks.
"Around 6:00 I need you to call Adelyn and ask if she will come over and play. But really she's coming to the park to meet me." I say.
"So like a date? You and Adi are dating? Oh my gosh!" Skylynn says jumping up and down.
"Skylynn calm down! We aren't dating im just going to ask her to a school dance." I say.
"Oh so thats why you got her a heart neclace and flowers, plus your planning this whole 'date'? I know you wannna be more than friends with her. Nashy likes Adi! Nashy likes Adi!" Skylynn says.
"Sky!" I say getting red in the face.
"I'm kidding Nashy! But I got you covered." She says.
"Thanks sis." I say picking her up and hugging her.
I go to the living room. Now I need to discuss this with mom. I find her watching t.v.
"Hey mom!" I say.
"Hi sweety!" She says.
"So.. could you maybe do me a favor?" I ask.
"What is it?" She asks.
"Well I want to ask Adelyn to formal and I need you to pick her up and bring her to the park. I have it all set up, I just need you to go get her, and bring her to the park." I say.
"What time?" She asks.
"Before 7, so probably 6:30." I say.
"I got you hun!" She says.
I smile.
"Thanks mom!" I say while running back upstairs to finish planning.
Adelyns pov
I got out of the shower. It's now going on noon. I'm really not sure what I'm doing today. I decide to dress up since I haven't in the past few days. I grab a pair of light blue high waisted pants and a lime green crop top. I pull my hair into a high pony tail straighting the ends and then teezing them. I then do my make up. I put on a top layer of liner and mascara. I apply brownser and blush. I then put on a clear coat of lip gloss and make a kissy face in the mirror. I slip on my white converse and head down stairs to get me something to eat.
