Adelyns pov
I woke up to bright light in my eyes. I get this sudden sick feeling over me. I jump up and run towards the bathroom. I end up vomiting for a good five minutes. I had a horrible headache and I felt really cold.
"Mom!" I say.
I hear nothing. No reply. Great she's probably at work. I'm so sick of this. I decide against calling her. I get up only to get a sick feeling wash over me. I grab the trash can from the bathroom and head back to my bed. I don't eat, afraid that it might come back up. I get in bed and cover up. I turn the t.v on Disney and shortly fall asleep.
Nashs pov
I woke up around 10ish. I was suprised to not find any messages from Adi. I decide to text her before I officially get up.
"Morning, tx me wen u wake up? :D -N"
I sent the text and headed downstairs. I grab a bowl, cereal and milk. I finish making my breakfast, Skylynn walks in.
"Hi Nash, can you make me some cereal to?" She asks.
"Ofcourse." I reply making her a bowl to.
After I make our cereal we go to the living room and watch cartoons.
"So how was everything with Adi bub?" Sky asks.
"It was great actually." I say.
"So are you two boyfriend girlfriend? " She asks.
"No." I say.
She makes a pouty face.
We finish up eating and I take our dishes to the sink.
It's now about 11:30, still no text from Adelyn. She has to be up by now. But i'll give her a few more hours.
"Nash lets make a viiiiiine!" Sky screams.
"Okay, what are we going to do?" I ask.
"Lets make one of me!" She says.
"Okay, what are you doing in it though?" I ask.
"Talking and giving some girls a lecture!" She says.
"Okay then." I say.
I grab my phone and click on the vine app.
"Im about to start the camera." I say.
"Ready annnnnd go!" I say.
"Why all you ladies doin the duck face? Selfie. No stop it!" Sky says and then slaps her hand to my camera lens.
This has got to be one of the best vines ever, she said it with so much sass and was all into it.
I stop the recording and upload it. I caption it "The sass is real".
I go back upstairs and pick up my room alittle and make my bed.
After I got done it was going on 2 p.m. No text or calls from Adi. I'm calling her something could have happened. I grab my phone and dial her cell number.
*ring ring*
After about 10 rings, it went to voicemail. I tried calling about five more times after that. Come on Adelyn pick up. She still doesn't pick up. I'm going over to her house. I grab my keys and throw on some shoes. Not caring how I look or the fact I haven't showered today. I get in my car not telling my mom where I'm going and speed out. I drive as fast as I could to her house. I pull into her drive way. Her moms car isn't there so she must be at work. I get out of my car and run up to the porch. I wobble the door knob but it's locked. I knock.
*Bang Bang*
I knock for about a minute and no one answers. This is really scaring me. I began to panic and think of call t.he possible bad things that could happen. I shake my head. Where would they hide a spare key? I seen on movies its usually always under a door mat. So I check under her door mat and surely enough there one was. I grab the key and stick it in the lock. The door unlocks and I push it open. I shut it and it the key on the counter. I run upstairs towards Adelyns room. I open the door. Phew Adelyns there but she looks different. Like she's sad, or sick or something. I walk over to her and move some hair out of her face. Her forhead was burning up and she was pouring sweat. I decide to wake her up.
"Adelyn.. Adelyn." I say shaking her trying to wake her up.
When I finally do, she jumps.
"It's okay, it's just me." I say.
"You scared me." She says with her soft barely a whisper voice.
"Sorry, I tried calling and you didn't answer it scared me.. and yeah." I say.
She pulls her covers up and coughs.
"Adelyn I think you're sick." I say.
"I'm fine." She says.
"Your forhead is burning up, you're pouring sweat, you have a trashcan beside you, and you're losing your voice. You're sick." I say.
She shakes her head no.
"I'll go make you some soup. I'll also bring some nausea medicune. Need anything else?" I ask.
"No thank you." She says smiling.
I go back to the kitchen. I grab some chicken noodle soup and warm up the broth. I get a glass of water and fill it up. I put it on a tray and carry it up to her room. I set it down on her night stand.
"Thank you Nash." She says.
I nod and smile. I go to the bathroom and get some medicune and a cold rag. I hand her the medicune and she takes it. I then place the rag on her forhead and her bowl of soup on her lap.
"Thank you so much Nash." She says.
"Anytime." I say smiling.
I decide to call her mom on their house phone while Adi was finshing her soup.
"I called your mom and let her know your sick she said she will be home soon. I'll wait around til she gets her though." I say.
"I appreciate this Nash. Thank you, this is my moms job but she seems to not care. Her life revolves around her job." She says looking down playing with her soup.
"Don't say that Adi, she has to work to pay the bills. It's not her fault." I say defending her mom.
"Nash you just don't understand. She works everyday. I am always alone. It's hard sometimes. You'd have to be in my place. She's my only parent, the only person I really have." She says looking me in the eyes.
"You're right, but remember i'll always be here for you. If you need anything don't worry about bothering me, you won't. We're friends Adi, and friends do stuff for eachother whenever it's needed. You should get some sleep though." I say while taking her bowl and putting it on the night stand. I covered her back up. I put my lips to her forhead to check her temp it went down alittle, but not much. I watch her close her eyes and shortly drift off to sleep, snoring lightly.
Hey guys first i'd like to say thank you so much for the 1k! It's so amazing I have that many reads already. I couldn't be more happier. This is a short update because I have been so busy with cheerleading and everything I havent had time to do anything. But on the plus side im out of school && on vaca so I should be able to update more frequently. I hope u enjoy, ily all -Asialyn♥
