If I don't have a little thing at the top like I did last chapter then it's Paisley's POV.***
Beeping. That's not what I imagined Heaven to sound like. Nor did I imagine I'd hear hushed talking. Or be able to feel my fingertips.
I'm not dead. I can feel the tears coming to my eyes.
I let them fall and open my eyes.
I see my mother, a doctor and a man I do not know.
"Honey, you're awake," Mom smiles
"I wish I wasn't" I snapped
Mom took a step back.
"Don't talk to her like that," The man I don't know said
"I don't know you, why are you here," I say angrily
"Pais, This is Chris," Mom says, "You're father,"
I think for a minute. Is she talking about the dad that abandoned me as a small child? The dad that left me for someone else.
"Get out." I whisper. They all stare at me, not moving apparently they didn't get the message.
"I SAID GET THE FUCK OUT!" I screamed
Mom jumped tears fell down her face. She walked out.
Chris stood there shocked.
The doctor shook his head and left.
"That is no way to talk to your mother," Chris says
"I don't care. I don't want you here, I never asked you to be here," I say turning over
I hear his footsteps.
"Oh... and You'll never be my dad," I say loud enough for him to hear.
