Rosie’s POV
“Run Rosie, Now” my mother screamed.
“I can’t mom, not now please; tell me what’s wrong?” I asked.
A man appeared from the living room with smirk across his pale skin; “Well you must be Rosie” he’s says while putting his fingers through my golden brown hair.
The man suddenly grabbed my arm pulling me into the room behind him was my father lying on the ground lifeless. Only a single tear fell from my eye, my mother stood still; I could see all the blood drain from her face.
The man spoke “you must be the lovely Rosie… Quick story short I saved your precious mother years ago and her way of thanks was by giving you to me. Since you were sixteen last year you will be living with me in Mystic Falls, I’m Klaus nice to meet you” his strong British accent bellowed.
I looked at him with confusion, who is this man; a crazy crack head or just maybe a crazy hooker? Yeah he looks like hooker especially with the leather jacket on; hmm I wonder how much he earns? Wait no focus Rosie, he just killed your dad he can’t be a hooker maybe he’s in the mafia.
Minutes later Klaus let me have a few minutes saying goodbye to my mother and get some of my belongings, I don’t know why I didn’t just run when my mother told me to but I wanted to be a hero for once but I failed.
“Are you ready?” My mom Ann asked before pulling me into a long hug, hugging her back right away I just had to let go and I did; I just cried into her shoulders like a kid who fell over and grazed their knee.
A whisper echoed the room all of a sudden I had to let go to face inpatient man tapping his foot against the wooden door.
“Here wear this” Ann said pulling her necklace off. “It been soaked in vervain so vampires can’t compel you, this will keep you safe for now” she continued to speak until Klaus grabbed her by the neck.
All the veins appeared around his eyes, his sharp white fangs appeared too until his fangs pierced into my mother neck as I watched her screen in pain. I cried begging him to stop however my body felt weak, hopeless and tried; even though my powers felt strong my energy didn’t.
And there I was standing there watching a complete stranger drinking blood out of my mother neck while my father laid there lifeless on the living room floor.
Once finished Klaus threw her lifeless body to ground before wiping the blood from his face to his sleeve; “well Rosie, it’s just you and me now. Have you got your belongings?”
His face was poison just looking at him, the way his blue-ish green focused onto my face while his lips slightly pouted just after his eye lids lowered; he whispered “let’s go”.
Having no power to handle my anger I slowly walked towards him and slapped him across the face and said in a solid voice “That’s for my father”, I slapped him again “That’s for my mother” and once again I slapped him “and that’s from me”.
Taking a step back from him a soft smile formed across his lips “let’s go before I kill you”. As I watched him walk out the front door, I clutched the photo frame of Damon and me at my 14th birthday party and pulled suitcase out the front door.
Damon is a vampire too; my father saved his life from some Vampire Hunters back in the 80s, him and my father become really close until he needed to leave so he promised me he come back every year on my birthday to see my family and me.
Making my way towards the car I had to sit next to Klaus in the back seats while an old, unclean white haired man drive us to our location.
We were in the car for over 7 hours, Klaus tried to make small talk however I just ignored his annoying voice by shoving my earphones in. We stopped twice for toilet breaks which I thought it will be a great idea to escape however failed badly as everywhere I turned he was there.
