Glitch stared at the newcomer. "Who are you?"
"I am Chara." the human said.
Glitch hesitated at the name. "...Chara. That sounds so familiar..."
"Well, I am the demon that comes when you call its name."
"Demon, huh? I don't recall any demon."
"Hm. Well then, I am afraid I do not know. But that's besides the point. You do have a habit of creating these tangents, do you not? Probably just trying to prolong your sorry little life."
Glitch glared. "You know nothing about me, do you, Chara?" she said quietly. "I don't start 'these tangents' on purpose. It's the person I'm speaking to that does it by continuing them. But still. What do you want?"
"I just want to say thank you."
".. 'thank you?'"
"Your power awakened me from death."
"Excuse me? I didn't do anything. 'Death?' How are you here if you were dead?"
"Simple. It was you. My 'human soul...' my 'determination...' was not mine, but yours. As you gain LV, that feeling you get...that is me."
Glitch hesitated. "... wh-"
"But there is nothing left for us here. Let us erase this pointless world and move onto the next."
Glitch stared at her options: "Erase" or "Do Not." She pondered for a moment, then glared.
"No."
Chara stared. "...what?"
"I'm not doing either. I think there's something else that needs erased." She smirked as she glitched back to her normal self, causing Chara to hesitate.
"What do you think you're doing?! Since when were you the one in control?"
"Since ALWAYS. I'm not letting this world get erased, and I'm not risking my life for it."
She clawed the air, revealing the code. Chara stared.
"Wh-what are you-"
Glitch hacked it, and Chara flickered from existance, giving a terrified screech.
And once again, the world was black.
