Chapter 8

I glance at Amos - he seems as scared as I am about my brother being in the room as well.
"Severus..." I whimper, and instead of his casual walk, Severus runs to me, attacking me in a hug.
"Kathrin...oh Kathrin...you're alive!" he said, and I could feel his strain on not letting tears escape. He was whimpering as he cried, "Lucius and Narcissa have been worried too...they keep asking me why...the truth is, I was meaning to use a harmless curse!"
My eye twitches in anger. "Harmless?" I ask in hot, boiling rage, pushing Severus off me. "Harmless?! How do you mistake an Unforgivable Curse for something harmless?!"
Severus looks like he's about to shatter to pieces. I clench my jaw shut so I don't have to see him cry.
"Uh...Severus?" Amos asks lightly.
Severus gives him a dirty look.
"I..."
I glance at Amos. What was he about to say?
"I'll be with your sister, if it makes you feel better."

Sorry this is a pretty short chapter, I seriously couldn't think of anything to make it much longer. But it makes the story more interesting, don't you think?
