"Wait a moment. Sherlock, isn't she dead?" John asked before anyone got too absorbed in their work.
"Please. I knew she was kidnapped ages ago. Someone was going to chop her head off, but i took their place and made the rescue. I couldn't let the one woman to ever get close to outsmarting me die like that." Sherlock smirked, rambling.
"My god." John laughed.
"What?" Sherlock questioned, looking at his friend oddly.
"You've still got the hots for her! Hah! 'Im mr Sherlock Holmes, and I don't have any emotional attachments to anyone! Well... until the dominatrix that almost took over England and drugged me and beat me senseless afterwards comes into play'. The woman's got a hold on you!" John cackled. Sherlock had turned slightly red.
"John! I do not have 'the hots' for The Woman! I never did!" Sherlock growled.
"You showed off to impress her." John stated simply.
"I-I did not! I simply solved the puzzle! He'll, if anyone has the hots for anyone, its her! She set her phone password to 'SHER' so it would say 'I AM SHERLOCKED'." Sherlock growled.
"Pfft. Are you serious!? Oh my god! Pffahaha! I did not take you for a submissive sherlock! And realy!? 'Sherlocked'? That is fucking awsome!" Tony cackled.
"I AM NOT A SUBMISSIVE! Besides. She had very compromising photos of her young majesty in her camera phone. Turns out you shouldn't speak so lowly of the term." Sherlock yelled before quieting and smirking. Everyone's jaws dropped, but Steve of all people snorted.
"Oh good god. That is way to funny. Why is England like this!?" Steve chuckled. Tony joined in. The conversation continued before Loki built up the curouge to speak.
"D-don't we have a woman to save?" The god gulped. Everyone stopped.
"Right. Thankyou, Loki. Ahem. I'm assuming the call has been traced?" Sherlock spoke.
"Naturally. Would you like for me to sent the coordinates to your phone?" Jarvis asked.
"That would be splendid. Natasha. This, I do believe, is a mission. If you do wish to continue our bet then i suggest you do it at a later time." Sherlock stated.
"I will remove myself when the need arises." Natasha stated.
"Well, that would be now." Sherlock smirked as his phone lipped. "Loki, aee these coordinates blocked from your magic?" Sherlock asked, showing the phone screen to the other.
"I can check." Loki stated, taking a moment to close his eyes before smiling.
"All clear. Im not positive that it is trap free, but it looks alright." Loki stated with a small, nervous smile.
"Wonderful. If you would heal her after we retern here I am sure she would be eternally greatful." Sherlock stated.
"You will need someone who is skilled in long distance and hand to hand combat." Steve stated firmly. "I nominate clint to go with you."
"I was about to say the same thing. Loki, if you would be so kind as to take John, Clint, yourself and I to The Woman's location. Natasha, please detach yourself." Sherlock smiled, a dangerous, livid undertone to his voice as he spoke and checked the magazine in his gun. Actions were fulfilled and the four were teleported in a puff of green smoke. The group walked silently, listening. They knew were to go when they I'm heard Irene.
"YOU BRUTE! ITS MY JOB TO DO THE BEATING! HIT ME ONE MORE TIME AND I WILL HAVE YOU BEGGING FOR MY MERCY! AH! FUCK." They all heard her yell. Sherlock growled and sprinted off. Irene was bleeding and looked like she was in pain. But the man doing the beating was smiling. That man was doomed. He was only one of Moriartys henchmen, but Sherlock still shot. Two in watch leg, three in each arm, and one in each foot and hand for good measure. The tall detective dropped his gun and spun around to face Irene.
"Sherlock! Oh thank god! Please! Get me out of here!" Irene sobbed in relief. Sherlock nodded and rushed over, unifying her feet before following with her hands. The second she was free, she pulled him into a tight hug. The other three men had arrived in time to see him finish untying her and rw Clive a hug. He froze for a moment before reluctantly hugging back.
"Alright," he spoke softly. "Let's get you somewhere safe. Up you get." He finnished before aiding her to her feet. When he saw her start to collapse, he quickly caught her. "Ugh. You are in no condition to walk." He sighed before gently scooping her up bridle style and standing straight. "Come on. She needs Mexican attention."
"What about him?" Clint asked, pointing his finger at the man on the floor who had passed out from the pain. Sherlock thought for a moment.
"Let him bleed. His men will find him eventually." Sherlock stated coldly, glancing down at the now sleeping Irene and raising an eyebrow. "She did that on perpous, didnt she?"
"Oh definitely." John smirked.
"Ugh."
"Would you like ms to heal her or take everyone back?" Loki questioned.
"Take us back. If you run out of magic we still have doctors and a way back." Sherlock stated.
"Alright. In that case..." loki nodded, starting to speak words in a language nobody but him understood before green smoke surrounded them and they appeared in the main living area. Several people commented on the speed as sherlock strode gently to rhe couch abd started to place the woman down, only to find her clinging to his shirt.
"Oh bloody hell. Irene, please let go." Sherlock groaned, only to gulp as her arms instead moved to wrap around his neck to pull herself closer. "John... help." Sherlock gulped, straightening up.
"Nah, you seem fine. She looks happy aswell. Just leave her for a while." John smirked.
"John..." sherlock whined. He was very uncomfortable.
"Trust me. She will be there a while." Tony laughed. Sherlock groaned and tried again tty o place her on the couch before dighinv as nd d tiring down, trying to slide her off him like that. He got pretty far, but she just curled up into his side.
"No no no no no... ugh. Irene, how old are you? Good lord. Please let go. John and bruce need to help you. I can tell loki is a little too tired." Sherlock gulped.
"Mmm... Please... don't let.... go." Irene mumbled in her sleep, clinging tighter to the detective. He sighed.
"This is going to take a while, isn't it?" Sherlock asked.
"She doesn't seem to have a concussion. Just wait until she is a little deeper into sleep before you pry her off and you'll be fine." Bruce stated apologetically.
"Danmit." Sherlock groaned. "Ugh Why me?"
