It was soon time for her to leave, once the winter break came into an end. "I know ya think o' me as some sorta lucky charm for ya or whatever. But, I want ya to remember somethin, kay? We make our own luck." she advised, as he took her hands in his, wishing he didn't have to let her go. But, she had her own life to live, a sick dad to look after and her other love- her job and the students it came with. "Oh, that's rubbish, that is! That's just somethin that unlucky people tell themselves all the time just to feel better!" she chuckled on hearing him joke. "Be that as it may, I want ya to gimme a ring once yer famous, kay? An' dontcha dare forget to visit. One must never forget their roots, love." she made him promise "Hmm...I'll have a reason to come home now..." he began, charmingly kissing the top of her mittened hands as if vowing never to break the promise. Unable to resist his inviting lips, she embraced him, standing tippy-toes to envelop his lips with her own, cutting him off before he could finish his sentence. It was a short kiss and she pulled back, leaving him wanting more. "That was a good luck kiss." she explained her reason behind the kiss. She mouthed bye, turning on her heels to leave and wheeling her trolley in front of her. The young actor tried to hide his sorrow, looking down at his shoes...when he heard her trolley come to a halt and footsteps. He received her with open arms once more as she planted another short kiss on his hungry lips, deciding one farewell kiss wasn't enough.  "That. That there's a good bye kiss. Alright then...my train's leavin, yeah?" she bid farewell yet again, beginning to back away. But, he wouldn't let her go that easily. Their hands lingered for a while and he took this opportunity to pull her into his arms once more. She was hesitant to stay longer on the platform, but that thought melted away when he snogged her. He rested his hands upon her waist, while her hands wrapped themselves around his neck and her fingers found themselves running through his hair. The couple couldn't get enough of each other, snogging for the longest time on the platform at King's Cross station, absent-minded to the trains and passengers that went past in a blur.
"Ya forgot yer I love ya an' I don't wanna go kiss." he reminded, pulling back to let her catch her breath. She closed her eyes, licking her lips as she panted, still reveling in the sweetness of his lips on her own and his touch, as he gently caressed her face. She opened her eyes as she felt something warm and wet pellet her face. "I wish ya didn't have to go. I don't want ya to go, ya know?" he whispered, voice muffled by her shoulder as he insisted on one last hug. She could see her fellow passengers rush in the direction of the train, so she squirmed out of his arms.  "I have to go. I'll see ya soon, yeah? I'll be waitin. Ya know my address, love." she promised, staring into his puffy eyes and lovingly stroking his hair as she spoke. He watched her leave, waving at her while she waved at him from her window seat.  "Oh, bollocks!" he cussed under his breath, on noticing the time on his wristwatch. He was already late for his audition. He'd have to rush now.

She was doing a bit of spring cleaning, arranging her gigantic textbooks on literature ,her classics and various other novels on the shelf in her bedroom, when she heard her new mobile ring. He'd bought it for her in London without a second thought, using his last paycheck. She'd reprimanded him for it, refusing to let him spend his money on gifts for her, but he was determined to rescue her from the Stone Age (as he liked to call it) she was stuck in!
She decided to finish her chores for the day before she attended the call, letting the mobile buzz on the table beside her as she turned her attention to the strict schedule that she'd made for herself in her free time. Water the garden was the next chore on it and she decided to get to it with a large watering can which she filled up at the kitchen sink before she stepped out.
