Right Choices, Wrong Timing

The beeping sound woke me up. I sooo love my alarm clock. It's just the best thing there is in the world, you know?

Sarcasm. PURE SARCASM.

Urgh. Stupid alam clock. Tells me it's Monday.... AGAIN. Can't it just be weekend all the time? I'm just like the other kids out there.

I. Want. Sleep.

But too bad, I can't even get enough cause weekend's over and now I need to go back to the hell called school. If there's anything I would wish for, that would be 6 months vacation for like twice a year. That would be lovely and that's enough for me cause literally, that's just the best thing that could happen in my life. I'd enjoy that vacation so much I'd even dress up as sleeping beauty before going to bed then sleeping all the way to dreamland and be with -------

My continuous ranting inside my brain was cut off by the sound of my bedroom door opening. Ugh. Doesn't this person know how to knock? Knocking is soooo not hard to do. You just have to close your hand then you bring it up and tap it on the door and then you're already knocking on the freaking stupid door! Seriously? What is wrong with the people nowadays?!

"Alli! Get out of bed right now or I am so kicking your ass out of it!" Oh wait, that voice sounds very familiar.. hmm.. oh! It's My brother, Andy. Oookay he's here. Yep, he's here and he just said that he's gonna kick my ass outta my bed. Hah! As if! My ass is soo freaking nice he won't even have the guts to kick it! And my brother's too nice to...

Wait what?!
My brother?!?!

MY?!?! BROTHER?!?!?!

I opened my eyes and looked at the door and saw Andy with a smile on his face. I immediately jumped out of my bed and ran to him half asleep. I put my arms around his neck and hugged him tight but I guess it was way too tight because Andy was coughing and I realized that I was choking him.

I let go of him immediately, "Oops! Sorry Andy!" I said and smiled sheepishly at him, "I missed you sooo much!" I hugged him again but not too tight to choke him again then kissed his cheek.

He hugged me back and said that I've grown a lot since the last time he saw me then ruffled my already messy hair. I would usually glare at anyone who did that to me but right now I just can't stop smiling because I missed my brother so much.

You're probably wondering why I missed my brother so much. Well, he used to stay in the States for his studies while me and our parents stayed here in the Philippines. He was there for like 5 years straight and only went home for like once a year so I really missed him.

"Let's save this moment for later. Get ready for school first. Chop chop!" Andy said in an authoritative tone so I told him,"You know, Andy, I really missed you a lot so I just wanna stay with you and you know we'll go bonding at the mall and then ill go shopping and you'll treat me and take me to dinner and----" I stopped speaking because Andy laughed while shaking his head.

"What?" I asked him, "What's so funny Andy?" I asked again. "You, Alli, is not going anywhere with me today because you have to go to school. So just go and get ready. We can go bonding some other time but today, you're going to school, okay?" He said and I was so disappointed. I thought I could use this as an excuse to not go to school but no. "But Andy, I... You.. we.. mall---" I started saying but he cut me off, "No buts Alli. We will just go to the mall later after your school, okay?" He told me like a father talking to his 5-year old child.

Oh well, still the same Andy, values studies a lot.

I just nodded at him and he went out of my room. I immediately went to my closet and grabbed my undies and my school uniform. I actually like our uniform cause It's very cute. well anyway, enough with the talking. I headed straight to my bathroom and took a hot bath. It was nice and relaxing.

I stepped out, got dressed and tied my hair up in a ponytail. I got my bag and went downstairs to eat breakfast with Andy and whoever it is that's downstairs but I know its not my parents cause they only come home in special occasions.

I found out that it was just my 3-year-old baby cousin Alexa who's making the noise. She was laughing so hard because Andy was tickling her. Oh our cute and chubby little Alexa, she's very cheerful and she brings joy to this house. She always loved to play with me but when she met Andy, he bacame her favorite person. I just get jealous at times... Nah just kidding.

I started eating after playing a bit with her. She even asked me to stay and I was so tempted to say yes and stay but I know Andy won't let me so I just told her that Andy will be the one to stay and play with her.

After a few minutes, I finished eating and excused myself from the table, I said goodbye to Andy and Alexa then kissed them on the cheek. I then headed outside to our car and told Manong Cesar to take me to school.

After the 10-minute drive to school, I stepped out of the car and made my way inside the campus as I think about my date with Andy later. Oh I really missed him so much. I can just hug him all day if he'd let me.

I still remember those good old days when we were just little kids running around the garden while mom and dad are watching us. How I wish I could go back to those times when there were no problems. but this is life, and it just keeps on going.

I just smiled as I remembered those times. I was so happy about it that I forgot that I was supposed to go to my locker and found myself infront of my classroom. Ugh now I have to go back.

Then I thought to myself, wow, this is gonna be a long day.
