"What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?"
~Vincent Van Gogh

I wish I could be invisible.

Then I wouldn't get stares. I'm a pretty basic person, I don't know why people can't just mind their business. I have long, black, curly hair reaching my waist. I have tanned skin with full lips. I have basic brown eyes.

Ok. So maybe I'm lying about one little thing. I don't have basic brown eyes. My eyes are bright blue with specks of pink.

Yes, you read right, pink. Doctors couldn't really explain my eyes so they just when with, "It's a genetic mutation." My eyes attract too much attention. They already stand out on their own in general. But with my tanned skin, my eyes look like there glowing.

I ran my hand through my hair as I walked down the hall with my books. I was too nervous to even look at anyone. And no, before you ask, I am not new. I just am a naturally shy person.

I put my things in my locker and looked at my schedule to see which class I had next. I was about to walk away when some one brushed my shoulder. I looked up to see a boy, just as tanned as me, walk towards the student office.

He smiled at the lady who asked his name, and I felt my heartbeat increase.

Sure, I didn't know his name, but he was still fine though.
