Chapter 2| I Should Be In Mission Impossible.

~AnonymousYou know... I thought this would be easier. I thought I was going to wake up an hour after the incident, and everyone would hug me and Xavier would run to kiss me and say that I'm his lifesaver.
Nope.
I wake up sometime around three. It's pitch black outside. Pushing hair out of my face, I get up from my hospital bed.
But, not before I feel immense pain.
I nearly scream and look down at my arm. There is a needle still in it. I guess it's to give me that clear liquid stuff I don't know the name of.
I really should of payed attention in health class.
I pull the needle out. I'm not so sure if that was allowed, though. Anyway, I spot my clothes and quickly change from the hospital gown I'm wearing. I'm just about to set the gown down on my bed, when I notice a manly figure sleeping on the couch. I tiptoe over to him to get a peak at his face.
Oh, shoot.
It's Xavier. It's him. Oh, God, I'm panicking. I tiptoe/run over to the door and quietly open it. I slip through the door and stand in the hall as relief settles in.
Jeez. I should be in Mission Impossible.
I've never felt so happy to escape a room with Xavier in it. I can't let him see me in a hospital gown or all he will feel is pity. I don't want him to pity me, I want him to like me. I walk around the dark halls of the hall finding nothing to do since everything I own is back in my hospital room. I was passing the front desk when something catches me eye.
A calendar.
You may be asking why are you acting so shocked over a calendar? It wasn't because of the place, or what it looked like, or whatever your thinking.
It's because of the date.
