Manik enters nandini'sroom and finds her sitting on the bed staring nowhere.
Manik: Nandini... Nandini... Nandini ( manik calls her 2-3 times but she doesn't listen) JAAN (finally nandani looks towards manik)... Chalo u are my good girl toh jaldi se ye dhoodh finish kar lo.
Nandini just nods her head in a no.
Manik: Arrey aise kaise nhi... Meri jaan isse piye gei nhi toh takat kaise aayegi.... Accha ok hum ek competition karte hai... Pehle I will take a sip and then you will and dekte hai kon isko phele finish karta hai ok.
Manik takes a sip and gulps it down making a really bad face which is not noticed by nandani... Then nandini takes a sip.. This continues for 2-3 times when nandani sees how hard it was for manik to gulp it down...so she takes the remaining milk left and drinks it in a go.
Manik is happy to see that she has finished the entire glass.
He makes her lay on the bed and covers her with the quilt. He places his fingers on her eyes and ask her to close them and try to sleep while he sat beside her looking at her pale face.
It had just been a few minutes that she had closed her eyes when she remembered the incident and jerked open her eyes shouting manik's name.
Manik who was sitting beside her immediately got alerted and took her in his embrace. As soon as she found herself in his embrace tears made their way out.
Manik: jaan mai yahin hun.... Shh bas relax..... Kuch nhi hun.. Mai yahin hun jaan kahin nhi ja raha.....rona band karo... Chup mai yahin hun.
