Nandini was crying continuously and manik knew that it was not good for her health.

Manik was all the time caressing her hair and kissing her time to time.

Manik :bas ab meri jaan aur nhi roe gei.... (he said all this wiping her tears) ....meri shona toh strong hai na.... Humari galti nhi hai toh we won't cry... We will fight and punish that pandit.

Manik made nandini understand all this as a father does to his child and nandini understanding everything nodded her head like an innocent child.

Nandini knew that manik loved her with all his heart but still she asked him something which hurt him.. But he knew that she is not questioning his love.. Its just that this incident has left a mark on her which is way she is thinking this way... But he knew that it was his time to pick up her battles and help her fight her insecurities.
