The New Kid

Chapter Four

Y/N POV

"Holy Shit, what happened to you" "RICHIE!" Stan and Eddie run towards us I look at the bloody boy. I hold my hand out, "Let me help you up" he looks hesitant and takes it I help him up also with the help of Stan and Eddie "What happened?" he didn't answer "Guys we need to help him" I stare at Bill. He grabs his bike and gets on and calls over the kid "New K-K-Kid get on" he said I grab Richie's bike just as Richie was going to pick it up. I touch his hand by accident, I start blushing "S-Sorry" I look down so he doesn't see my blush "Heh... Its okay" He smiles at me he jumps on and I jump onto the back of it. I look at Stan, he looked furious "you ok Stan?" "I'm fine" we all ride through the forest.

"I think it's great that we're helping the new kid but we also need to think about our own safety. I mean, he's bleeding all over and you guys know there's an AIDS epidemic happening right now as we speak. I mean my mom's friend in New York City got it just by touching a dirty pole in the subway and she got AIDS blood into her system through a hangnail, a hangnail! And they can amputate legs and arms. But, but how do you amputate a waist. How do you amputate a waist! you guys do know that there are alleys full of" I cut him off "AID infected needles? I'm pretty sure some of us know." I look at the boys. I jump off Richie's bike and move closer to Eddie and whisper in his ear "I'm pretty no one cares though ed's... but hey when you become a doctor or something. You can write a book about it" I smile towards him "Thanks, Y/n/n," he smiles back. I walk to Stan I smile at him he blushes slightly "are you oka-" "Richie, wait here," Bill says while he walks back and starts to run "Come on," Eddie follows but Stan looks at me "Are you coming?" "Hmm oh umm" I look at Richie "Yeah" I run after Bill. I watch as Eddie pick up different supplies "Are we going to have enough money?" I watch as stan counts the money in his hand "It's all we got" showing the guys the money "You kidding me" I check my pocket and find 10 dollars "This is all I have... It's not enough is it?" "No.." I look at bill as he stares at the supplies and then to Eddie "Wait you have an account here, don't you?" "If my mom finds out I bought all this stuff for myself I'll spend the whole rest of the week in the emergency room." I walk away from the boys looking around the pharmacy "See you later, Dad" "See ya, Greta" I feel someone pull me away from the girl with the pink backpack "Bev?" I ask looking at Beverly "Sorry Y/n.. She's a bully and I'm pretty sure you don't want to deal with her" I watch as the Bev tries to hide a box I realize what it was Tampax "Hey there isn't anything to be embarrassed about. I'm  pretty sure every girl deals with it" I say laughing. "Wait where did Y/n/n go?" I hear Stan I walk back to the aisle that the boys were in with Beverly as she hides her tampons behind her. "I'm right here" "You okay?" Bill asks Bev "I'm fine" "Y/n?" "Hmm oh yea I'm good Billy" I smile towards the blushing boy. "What's wrong with you?" "A kid outside-" "It's none of your business" "Stan..." I look at him "There's a kid outside that looks like someone killed him" "We needed supplies but we don't have enough money." I look at Beverly she walks to the counter I look down to my hands and notice I'm shaking "I'm gonna go outside see you guys in a couple of seconds" I smile and run outside. I start hyperventilating "calm down Y/n, your okay" Are you though? I shake my head, I calm my breathing down "I'm okay.." I put my hands on my knees and look down "quick quick" I watch the boys run out with the supplies "you a-alright?" "Yeah Bill.." I stand up "y-you sure?" "Yes.. can we just go help that kid" I walk back to the kid and Richie

"Okay so... we all good?" "Y-Yea" Bill says putting stuff down. Eddie grabs the stuff and goes to the new kid "just suck the wound" "that's not gonn-" "I need to focus right now" I get up and lean against a wall.. "if I knew I was going to get interrupted all day I wouldn't have come" I mumbled to myself "You need to focus?" "Yeah, can you go get me something?" "Jesus. Oh, what do you need?" "Go get my bifocals, I hid them in my second fanny pack." "Why do you have two fanny packs?" The boys argue while I watch Bill talking to Beverly. You have to suck the wound before you apply the band-aid, this is 101" "You don't know, what you're talking about?" I watch as Beverly walks our way "Are you okay, that looks like it hurts." "No, I'm good. I just fell." "Yeah, right into Henry Bowers." "Shut it, R-R-Richie" "Why? Its the truth" "Just shut your fucking mouth, Richie!" Everyone stares at me "What!" "You sure they got 'The Right Stuff' to fix you up?" she winks at him "You know w-w-w-w-we'll take care of him" "Thanks again, Beverly" "Sure, Maybe I'll see you around" "Nice going bringing up Bowers in front of her." "Yeah, dude you heard what she did" "What'd she do?" "Yeah. What did she do?" "More like who'd she do, From what I hear the list is longer than my 'Wang'" "That's not saying much" I laugh at Stan's Comment earning the eyes of the guys. "Did you guys seriously forget that I was here?" "They're j-j-just rumors." "Anyway, Bill had her back in third grade." This earned a smirk from Bill. Oh, so he likes Bev bummer Bill is kinda cute. I blush at what I thought "Y/n/n" Bill says quietly "Hmm?" "They kissed in the school play. The reviews said that you can't fake that sort of passion" "Wow" I smirk as I see a proud smirk on Bills face "What" Stan asked "Now, pip pip and tally-ho my good fellows, I do believe this chap requires our utmost attention. Get in there Dr. K, come on, fix him up!" Richie does the most horrendous British voice. "Why don't you shut the fuck up, Einstein, because I know what I'm doing and I don't want you doing the British guy with me right now" "Burnnnn" "Suck the wound. Get in there" "Jesus Christ Richie do you want him to suck your 'wang' too while he's at it!" the boys just stare at me and Richie blushes "What are you staring at Ed's. Hurry up get in there fix this kid up!"

"So whats your name?" "It's Ben who are you?" "Y/n. So.. who did that to you?" "Henry Bowers" "Jesus Christ he must be a really bad guy. How are you feeling?" "A lot better than before," Ben said slightly laughing "How a-about we g-go to the q-q-q-quarry t-tomorrow?" Bill asks pretty much everyone agrees "The Quarry?" "oh y-yea.. U-uh h-how about we m-m-met at the school a-again and we take you to the q-quarry with us" Bill smiles "Y-Yea okay.. and seeing as its summer one of you need to show me where the arcade is cause I'm dying to play some games" I say rubbing the back of my neck. Richie's jaw drops "Is something wrong" my face gets red and I start to play with my sleeves on my denim jacket "Never seen a girl be interested in gaming" he chuckles "Y/N Why are you wearing a denim jacket in summer? You are sure to get dehydrated you should really take it off" "Eh. Oh no no no, I'm fine" I smile towards Eddie. I look at my watch "I should probably head home. Before my dad and the girlfriend get worried." I say in a sad tone "anyway Its almost curfew..." I start to walk towards the way Beverly went "Hey! Y/N w-wait" I turn to see Bill following me. "H-h-how a-about I w-walk you home" "Uh sure" I smile again and we walk to my apartment.

we arrive at my house

"H-Hey y-you live here?" "Yeah" "H-How about i-instead of meeting a-at the s-school I b-bring the b-boys here i-instead?" "Yea sure" I walk to my porch and slowly open my door. "Thanks, Bill" I smile slightly blushing "W-What for?" "B-Being my friend" I run up to him and kiss his cheek "See you tomorrow" I see him blush "Y-Yea S-See you t-tomorrow" I walk up the fire escape and see Beverly at our level "hey Bev" "Hey." "The boys and I are going to the quarry if you want to join us" I smile "of course" she smiles "awesome, I should probably go in" I walk to my door "see you tomorrow Bevvie" "Bevvie?" "Oh umm I can not call you that if you want" "I like it" she smiles I open my door to see My dad and Beth making out "Gross!" "Oh sorry, Princess." My dad gets off his girlfriend "How was your day?" "It was fine" I walk up to my room and grab a box with all my polaroid pictures in it. I hear chirps to my right "Oh hey buddy. You hungry?" I grab some bird food and fill up his bowl "I need a name for you" I smile while continuing to grab pictures. I start to put them all on my wall, I start to yawn I look over at my clock to see it was 10 pm "Jesus I should get some sleep" I close the box and jump into bed thinking about someone who I wouldn't have thought I would think about...
