It's ok to find out that you weren't actually gay.

It's fine to find out that you had been misgendering yourself all along and that you're cis.

What's not good is blaming the community for it, because apparently that's a thing people are or have been doing.

No no, what should be blamed in this case is the toxic heteronormativity that confused you.

So the people's arguments for this is just "yeah I'm gonna blame a community I thought I was part of because they are the ones who made me blind to what I was in the first place!!"

Because that's the community's job.
