"ARE YOU OK? That looks like it hurts." Beverly said.
"Yeah I'm good, I just fell." Ben beamed up at Bev, aw wee baby Ben likes Bev.
"Yeah, right into Henry Bowers!" Richie exclaimed. I looked at him, him looking at me already it.
"Shut up Richie." I say slightly shoving him.
"Why? It's the truth."
"Are you sure they got 'The Right Stuff' to fix you up?" Bev says winking. Isn't that a New Kidz on The Block song? He must like them. Ben shows all of his teeth while smiling at Beverly.
"W-w-we'll take care of him." Bill stuttered. "Thanks again Beverly." He said staring at her. I loudly clear my throat reminding Bill that I helped to.
"And Vivian." Richie smiled, I smiled back slightly blushing.
"Sure, maybe we'll see you around?" Bev asked looking up at Bill with her hopeful blue eyes.
"Yeah, we were thinking about going to the q-q-quarry tomorrow, if you guys wanna come?" Bill asked, not taking his eyes off Beverly. All the boys stared at Bill as he asked two attrative girls to go swimming with them tomorrow.
"Good to know. Thanks." Beverly smiled. "Let's go, Viv." Bev said grabbing my arm.
"Ok two seconds." I told her turning to the group of boys. "Bye guys, see you around." I smiled, Then walked off with Bev beside me.

Before Vivian and Beverly arrived, all the five boys were looking over the side of the cliff to the quarry below. They all stood in their matching tighty-whities hacking loogies over the side of the cliff.
Richie spat out his loogie and it went quite far. Followed by Bill and Stan. Neither of them got as far as Richie. Then Ben tried, again it didn't go as far.
"Oh my god, so easy," Richie laughed. "So easy."
Finally Eddie tried, his was huge, but it hardly went over the end to the quarry below.
"Oh my God, that was terrible. I win!" Richie gloats.
"You won?" Eddie questioned.
"Yeah."
"Did you see my loogie?"
"Mine went the furthest, it's about distance." Richie explained.
"It's mass. It's always been mass." Eddie clarified.
"What is- What is mass?"
"It doesn't matter how far it goes. It matters how cool it looks, like if it's green or if it's white, or if it's juicy and fat!" Eddie exclaims.
"That is disgusting." I say coming out of the bushes in my black underwear and white bra, with my red hair in a bun on top of my head.
"Alright, who's first?" Bill asks changing the subject. We all look down at the distance we would have to jump.
"I'll go!" I hear Bev shout behind me. As we all turn to look at her, she us taking her clothes off beside her bike.
"Yeah, me too." I say walking over and joining hands with Beverly. We both count down from 5 and run forward.
"Sissies!" We both scream as we jump our hands still joined.
"What the fuck!" Richie shouts as he was just shown up by two girls. We both crashed into the water below.
"Holy shit it's cold!" I shout as we hit the water coming back up to the top.
"Ah holy shit, we just got shown up by two girls."
"We have to do that know?" Stan asked nervously.
"Yes."
"Come on! Hurry up will ya!" I shouted from below. Ben waved awkwardly down to his crush in the water.
"Oh shit," Stan said turning to Richie. "I can see why you like her."
"Wha-?"
One by one the losers started jumping off the cliff into the water below. Bill first, then Richie, Eddie, Stan and finally Ben.
The seven of us chilled at the quarry for most of the day, just enjoying each other's company and the hot summer sun.
"Viv get on my shoulders." Richie said.
"What the hell, why?" I asked.
"For a chicken fight, god."
"Oh." I said, as Richie dunked under the water to let me get on. I climbed onto his shoulders as Bev got on Bills shoulders. We fought for like 10 minutes until Beverly manged to push me off. I fell into the water with a crash and we all laughed as I momentarily choked.
Bill kept looking at Beverly when she wasn't looking. Bev doing the same. Neither of them noticed, Ben noticed. Ben noticed that Bill liked Beverly, and that Beverly liked Bill.
"Oh my god what was that? Did you see that?" I said tugging on Richies arm.
"Its a turtle." We all ducked under the water to see if we could catch a glimpse of it.

Bev and I lay out trying to get some tan. We both had our sunglasses on and Beverly had one hand behind her head. The boys sat on near by rocks staring at us. None of them had seen girls in this little clothes, no matter what Richie would tell you.
Bill and Ben were staring at Beverly the whole time, Richie and Stan stared at me the whole time. Eddie shifted his eyes from one girl to the other.
Bev turned her head towards the boys who all looked away and pretended they weren't staring. Beverly's eyes made there way to Bill, who was still acting like he hadn't been looking at her. Beverly's smile soon faltered.
As Vivian turned her head Richies eyes wandered off to Ben's open bag on the floor. He noticed a post card and some books inside.
"Hey Ben, news flash schools out for summa!" Richie exclaimed.
"Oh no, this isn't school stuff."
"Who sent you this?" Richie asked pulling a post card out of Ben's bag.
"No one!" Ben said snatching the card from Richies hands. "No one."
Richie continued to pull stuff from Ben's bag. He pulled out a book and opened it, in it there were multiple news articles inside. The first article read 'Easter Explosion Kills 88 Children, 102 in Total.'
"That means 14 others were killed." I pipe up. They all look at me weirdly. "What? It's simple mental math."
"What's with the history project?" Eddie asks ignoring my input.
"Well when I first moved here, I didn't really have anyone to hang out with. So I just started spending time in the library."
"You went to the library... on purpose?" Richie asked blinking his eyes.
