ALEC'S P.O.V

I woke up with my wolf howling out to go run. He needed freedom and frankly so do I. I got up and threw on basketball shorts and a loose tee. I walked out of my room and sprinted down the stairs and leaped outside. Shifting into my wolf mid-leap. I run to the only place I can really be free. I arrive at my destination. A low cave under a lake. I found this place the first time I shifted it called out to me.

-FLASHBACK-

I was laying on the couch all alone. I'm watching tv when I'm feel a sharp agonizing pain in my sides traveling to every part. I let let out a bloodcurdling scream. I fall to the ground holding my side. I'm hoping someone will hear me and come help me when I realize no one is here. Everyone is at a neighbor pack. I can't go of course because I'm "dead".Someone's voice fills my head to go outside. I listen to voice and drag my body out to the edge of the forest. My ribs and legs break then elongate. My other bones soon follow. Fur sprouts from my chest and reaches my arms and legs. I used to be human but now I wasnt. I was now fully shifted. I was prancing around when a voice fills my head I have never heard.

I'm your wolf Elijah I need you to let me take control. So I can lead you somewhere so I'm warning you. I'm now taking control so don't fight it. My wolf, Elijah says. Then I feel like I'm being pushed back but I'm also frozen and I'm now looking through my own eyes. My eyes turn a black tint and Elijah takes off and runs to a meadow. He stops lifts his head then sniffs the air taking me to a blue lake. He jumps in he swims down to the bottom and looks around. He then swims to the darkest part of the lake and keeps swimming when I feel air filled into my lungs I don't need it but it's refreshing. I now notice I'm in a cave and for once in my life I feel at home. This is my safe place I won't show anyone.

END OF FLASHBACK

I kept that promise no one knows of my cave. I feel alive but I also feel tired so I jump up and swim back up. I reach the pack house I shift behind a tree out of sight of people. I throw back on my clothes and run into the pack house. I was shaking out my hair since it was still wet when I bump into a tiny chest. I look down as she is looking up. I notice that the tiny chest belonged to a tiny girl. With fire red hair and beautiful blue eyes I could just get lost in. I was pulled to her not in a mate way but I was still pulled. We were staring Into each other eyes and holding each other. When I hear a low growl and she is ripped from my arms. I can't help but feel disappointed. I look up to the ripper of the girl and notice my eyes looking back at me but fury replaced why mine held shock. The ripper was my twin and the girls mate.
