AXEL'S P.O.V

I barely caught Mirabella before she fell. I just now looked down assessing her wounds. I had my own wounds but I didn't care about me all I cared was about her.
The first thing I noticed were her wrists. Torn and shredded and burned to the bone. Five long gashes across her side. Her ankles are sprained and her neck are full of bite marks. I can tell that she has broken ribs because she hisses when I bump them.
What did they do to her? How did she survive this long? How could they do this a young teenage girl? She doesn't deserve this. No one does not even rogues.
"She's dying we need to go." A young boy says to my left.
"Who are you and why did you have my mate in your hands?"I demand using my alpha tone.
It means a lot I have never used it before and honestly I hate that at this moment I was using it but he touched her and that crosses the line.
" I'm Ashton her brother." He says looking down but not before pointing to my sleeping mate.
SHE IS NOT SLEEPING YOU MORON! My wolf screams in my head. I would usually yell at him I deserve it and right now is the time.
I need to make sure she is alive so I listened for her heartbeat I could hear it but it was faint and muffled we needed to act fast. I handed her to Ashton then shifted then nodded my head at her then on my back and ran to my pack.
AT MY PACK

"Her heart is weak and muffled. There is no cure for mercury. If her wolf is strong enough she might be able to fight if not........" The pack doctor says.
"That can't happen I don't know what I would do if she......" I say I can feel the beginning of tears. The damp feeling in my eyes caused by a tug in my heart.
"There is only one cure and it's only ever worked once and she was the strongest of all. It might not work. We can try though but I must warn you not to get your hopes up and you might not be comfortable with it. Hell I'm not even comfortable with it but it's are last option." Said the pack doctor.
"Kayla. What is it?" I ask.
" Delta, she must be marked forcefully."
"She will hate me.That is NOT A OPTION!"
"It's our only option. It must happen if we are to save her if it's possible."
" This is are only option? Right?
"Yes. It needs to happen now or she might" The one word I did not need to hear." Die."
"If I have to."
I hated to this but I couldn't think of the alternative.
