the news about the two dating spread faster than lightning. minjee would get stares from mark's exes, stares she could not describe. a mix of jealousy and pity? minjee doesn't know herself.
pity? they shouldn't pity her, she should pity them. those girls were dumb enough to fall into mark's trap. to naive enough to think mark would change because he loves them. minjee hopes they learned that no one can change a fuckboy.
"hey minjee," mark said as he got closer to the girl walking on the hallway. the two were currently walking to their first class. minjee, as the class president, had to go to their classroom early in order to check the attendance.
the girl, not dumb enough to fall for mark, gave him a forced peck on his cheeks to return back his early morning greeting.
it had been a rough morning for mark, his parents scolded him because he was wasting too much money on some 'useless' things. it was not useless for mark, though. he had planned a nice date on the park with minjee, give her a box of chicken nuggets and some books she had been talking about getting.
"minjee, let's go to the park on our first date. tonight, are you okay with it? it's a friday anyways," the boy said. minjee looked at him and gave a slight nod.
mark looked at her dark brown eyes. it was beautiful. it had been yet to be noticed. an art, mark would think. everytime mark would look at her eyes, he'd thank the gods above for letting him have this work of art.
it might be too early for him to think that, odd when it had only been 2 days since they started dating each other.
"hyung, are you listening?" jisung said that made mark come back to his senses "jaehyun hyung is inviting us to his house tomorrow, you up?"
mark only shrugged his shoulders, still unsure if he wanted to eat lunch with his friends or watch minjee read the books he'll give her.
"oh you do say so, huh?" minjee laughed at mark's corny pick-up line that made things less awkars. sometimes she forgets her original plan when mark makes some crazy jokes that don't even make sense.
"yes, i do." mark laughed. he had been waiting all day for this date, and now it was going better than fine.
the day turned to night, the two talking about things that make them smile. the two falling for each other more than ever. both of them wish the night never had to end, but life is so cruel it wouldn't grant their wish. they had no other choice, though. but to say their goodbyes and just hope to see them sooner than it had to be.

as months passed, people change. the two still falling for each other just like before, only life as cruel as ever separating both of them longer than they feared it to be. the two now wishing the night came to an end quicker, for them to see each other sooner. they had to say their goodbyes, hoping those goodbyes would never be the last.
