Chapter 6

"Your a red wolf too??" Chase's face was covered in shock. He was a red told too?! I thought I was the only one.

"Are you a red wolf nii-chan?!" I asked with curiosity. He closed his mouth shut and was deep in thought on what he was going to say to me. "Chase-nii answer my question."

"No I'm not but I know who is...was..."

"Who, maybe they can help me control my powers!" I was getting excited on who this person is, but wait did he 'was'?

"Chase who is it?" I said in a soft voice. He looked at me with eyes filled with sadness. He sighed.

"It was our uncle...you don't know him but he knew us, about you. He said that he was the descendant from one of the guardians of the previous red wolf so he wasn't really the red wolf...he died protecting me from some rouges." I was shocked.

"But Chase-nii wouldn't that mean that mom and dad were guardians too?!"

"No they're not, just descendants. But our uncle told me that only the next third generation was to be the next guardians. So technically speaking I am one of your guardians." He said with a small smile. I was getting a bit dizzy from all this. "Wait you said that you're one of the guardians. So that means that they're more?!"

He smiled. "Yes there are 12 in total."

"Who are the rest??"

"I don't know but all I know is that we'll be able to find all of them; eventually."

"Oh ok then..." My head was getting really fuzzy more and more I receive this information. I had guardians. Guardians who will protect me with their lives. Then a question popped into my mind. "Chase-nii did our uncle tell you about how to control my powers?!"

I really wanted to get these powers controlled so I could go back to Jet...

"Actually now that you mentioned it he did say something about that, what was it again." He pondered on this for a moment... He suddenly snapped his fingers startling me a bit.

"He said that I had to teach you temporarily while we go search for someone who can. That is if anything happened to him that's what we had to do. He said that he had a friend who also knows how to control the powers of a red wolf. Uncle taught me how I would teach you about your powers. He only gave me the basics since he thought ahead about you only starting to get your powers."

"So your telling me that you have to teach me while we find this other person?"

"Ya pretty much."

"Cool, my brother gets to tutor me in power control!" I was beaming in delight.

"Ok ok settle down there Rin. We have a lot of things to do before I teach you anything."

"What would that be Nii-chan?"

"First we need to go back to my house and give you a bath, feed you, then give you some rest. Training starts tomorrow."

"Oh ok then. Wait did you say your house...?"

"We'll technically it's uncles but since he died I kind of took it over for him."

"Oh ya...I forgot he's gone." I felt my smile turn into a small frown.

"Hey Rin look its ok he died doing a noble deed. He saved my life. He would've been happy to of met you again."

I looked up at him. He had a smile on his face.

"He's already seen me before?"

"Ya when you were born, he was there in the hospital with dad."

"I wish I had met him in person."

"Me too. You would of loved him. Just remember that he loved you very much even if he saw you once, he saw you and loved you without hesitation. He's like dad. Actually a lot like dad."

"How so?"

"He's dad's twin."

"Dad had a twin brother?!"

"Ya and a sister, our aunt Rose is the oldest of the three of them."

"Chase can I ask one more question."

"Sure Rin, what's on your little mind now?"

"What was our uncles name?"

"His name was Yamato. Yamato Kenosake."
