Preface

Waking up to a new place I don't recognize is nothing new to me. Ever since I was a babe, my powers had been unstable. They acted up at random, with no prior warning. They said it happened to everyone. Everyone went through this phrase. But, no one of my age faced this. But, they said this just meant I am powerful. That my powers were taking time to stabilize because I was more powerful than the rest. I didn't want to be though. But I didn't complain. At least, no one envied me. This was a place where everyone only felt positive emotions. Negative emotions like sadness, jealousy, envy, anger, etc. had no place in this place. 

Now, sleeping at one place and waking up at another was nothing new to me. I had gotten used to it after doing so for as long as I could remember. My powers always acted up when I was asleep. Every single night. But going to sleep in heaven and waking up all the way in earth was new! Even to me!
