You pulled your suit jacket on and heard the pitter of feet. You turned and saw your son, Elijah, peek into the room with King, the black pitbull.
"You can come in."
"Are you going to work Poppa?"
"Sadly. Duty calls little man."
"Momma isn't happy."
You sighed. Diana had voiced her dislike of your work schedule. You had explain that you don't make it because cases don't wait for people.
She wasn't happy and had been cold towards you. You suspected that she and Penny were more than friends but had pushed it aside after Monique told you that couldn't be true.
"Well, lets go see Momma."
You two walked to the living room where Diana was. She was reading. Kissing her forehead, you placed Elijah in her lap. He smiled at you two.
"Work?"
"Yes."
Diana grunted and went back to her book making you sigh.
"See you after work love."
You kissed her cheek before kissing and hugging Elijah. You pet king before grabbing your keys and leaving.

You sat court side and cheered as Tina made a basket. You watched intently as she crossed up Diana and made the point. The buzzer rang: Liberty Won.
Tina jogged over to you and you hugged her, kissing her forehead.
"Dinner?"
"Poseidon?"
"Absolutely."
She smiled as she went to change.
"Poppa!"
You turned and smiled.
"Little man!"
Elijah ran to you and you hugged him.
"Hey! Did you get my gift?"
"Yeah. Auntie Mo said it was from her so Momma wouldn't take it."
"Hmm good."
"When can I come see you?"
"You know your mom."
"She won't let me come see you, she keeps saying it's dangerous."
You snorted.
"Bullshit."
Elijah giggled.
"Want to meet Liberty?"
"Yeah!"
You took his hand and walked to the locker room.
"Ladies? Are we descent?"
"Yes!"
You and Elijah entered.
"Guys meet my son: Elijah Apollo-Taurasi."
"Hello!" He said, smiling.
"He's adorable!" Bria chirped.
Elijah smiled as the team fawned over him.
"Alright. Time to get you back."
"Okay. Bye!"
The team waved as you two left. You pulled a $100 from your wallet and put it in Elijah's Wallet.
