You have a secret talent--well it's not a secret but you joked it was. You can bake and cook anything. It was a natural talent. You could make anything taste good even if the ingredients didn't seem like it. You had opened up a shop in Dallas but eventually made it a chain restaurant across the south. You were good at what you did and so were the employees you hired.

You were currently in the kitchen testing out a new recipe when you heard the patter of feet. Turning, you smiled as you saw your twin girls running to you.

"Hey!"

"Poppa!"

You put the bowl down and caught both of them, kissing their cheeks.

"What are you doing?" Ava asked.

"I'm making a new cookie recipe."

"Can we taste them?" Solei asked.

"Yes, you can."

They giggled before running off, leaving you to finish baking.

"Poppa?"

"Hmm?"

"When's mommy coming home?"

"She should be back today."

"Okay."

You chuckled as the girls went back to playing in the living room. You put the cookies on the sheet before deciding to make Momma's favorite--sweet cinnamon rolls.

You set to work, watching the girls out the corner of your eyes. You heard your phone ring. Washing your hand, you walked over and answered.

"Ambrosia Honey speaking."

"Hey, baby!"

"Hey, sugar!"

"I'm almost home?"

"What's almost?"

"Like I just got on my flight."

You smiled.

"Okay. The girls and I are doing fine. What do you want to eat?"

"I was thinking Chicken Parmesan?"

"You got it. Did you win?"

"Yes, we did."

"Good. I'll see you when you get back."

"I know. Kiss the girls for me?"

"Absolutely. You know I always do. Get home safe."

"I will. Love you!"

"I love you, too."

You hung up and went back to work.

You had just tucked the girls into bed when you heard the door unlock. You closed the door and went downstairs and saw your wife standing there.

"Hey, Sugar."

You kissed her, rubbing her butt.

"Hey, baby. I missed you."

"I missed you too."

"I'm hungry."

"Come eat."

Glory dropped her bags by the door while following you to the kitchen. She sat at the island where you placed the plate of food before her. You poured a glass of white wine for her and sat with her, rubbing her back. Glory smiled as she began to talk and eat with you.

she finished and you put the plates in the sink before grabbing the plate with the cinnamon rolls. Glory lit up and you chuckled before kissing her cheek as you put it before her. She took one and began to eat it, moaning softly as the taste of cinnamon and icing hit her tongue.
