Love at First Sight

I Love You Grandma

    I hear the noise but I automatically deny it
"Nurse...Nurse please help me my grandma just had flat line" I say while shaking half to death
    She nods her head quickly and checks the machine but soon says sadly "Mya your grandma has passed away"
    I don't even respond all I do is lean and slide against the walland put my face in my hands and start to cry dramatically
  The Nurse softly and slowly pats my back while I'm still sobbing
  After a few hours the Nurse is gone but I start talking to my grandma "Hey grandma I know you can't here me but I just wanted to talk to you" "I can remember the first time I went to your house I thought you were my crazy grandma that watched the news at 4 everyday which turns out to be what you are and I loved it" "when you picked me up from school I couldn't wait to eat your delicious food for me and tell you about my day" "You would always watch cartoons with me until you or me fell asleep" "Or you even wake me up just so I could have a midnight snack with you" "But the best thing that you did for me grandma was taking care of me" "After my parents died you  had the choice to either give up for adoption or let me go,but you chose to keep me and I'm so very thankful that I got to love and care for the best grandma in the universe" "I love you so much" I say as I start to get tears eyes again
    I walk out the door and close it slowly I think to myself "I'm really gonna miss her"
