Should I compare you to a moonlit night?

Calm and cold, you soothe the burns of day break.

You lit the way and gave me back my sight.

Without you in my life my heart would ache.

And surely you feel the same about me.

You've said "I love you" more than I can count.

Without your love I would never be free,

From expectations I could never amount.

So, my love, why did you leave me like this?

Broken and bleeding, my heart has crumbled.

I thought our dreams had become true, like bliss.

Our relationship was just a jumble.

I will fix this with my heart on my sleeves,

Otherwise your heart will go to the thieves.
