Sang POV
"Saaaaannnngggg..." I hear someone whisper next to my ear. I roll over only to come face to face with a smirking Luke. I know that look. It's the signature 'I've got a plan that will get me in trouble but I don't care' look.
"What's up, Luke?" I ask him rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.
"Do you want to help me make some," He pauses glancing at the doorway as if worried about being overheard, "pancakes?" I giggle slightly before nodding my head. Pancakes actually sound amazing. He pulls me up and we head to the kitchen. It's still pretty early so I don't hear anyone else up.
As quietly as possible I help Luke collect all of the required ingredients. I sit down on a stool by the counter and watch him work his magic. I smother a giggle as he adds a second cup of chocolate chips. North will definitely have something to say about that.
"So Cupcake, did you sleep okay last night?" he asks me. I nod. About a week after I was cleared to dance, the nightmares started. It took a while for the boys to catch on. I didn't want to bother them with my problems. When they found out they were mad I didn't say anything. Since then one of them had stayed with we until I fell asleep. It helped. Last night, was Victor's night. He hummed my favorite of his compositions until I fell asleep.
I smile as Luke begins to dance slightly as he mixes the batter. He shakes his hips dramatically and I can't help but laugh a little. He smiles and winks at me before putting the batter down. He turns around and reaches up pulling the skillet out of an upper cabinet. I can't help but appreciate the defined muscles that peak out at the bottom of his shirt. Sigh. Bad Sang, bad. I snap myself out of it before he turns back around.
He sprays it with Pam and plugs it in to warm it up. I see a shadow out of the corner of my eye and immediately turn my attention to it. I should have known.
"Lucian, what the h*** do you think you're f***ing doing?" North asks sternly as he walks into the kitchen. Luke and I glance at each other before looking back to North. Luke looks sheepish but unrepentant. Honestly, I don't want North to kill the fun I've had so far this morning. I glance at the flour that has spilled onto the counter, an idea forming in my head. I swipe some on my finger before jumping off my stool and walking towards North.
"Good morning, North Star!" I greet cheerfully. He looks at me and smiles, his eyes she glazed over from sleep. Perfect. He won't even see it coming.
"North Star?" he asks.
"Yep, you like to lead the way. It seemed to fit. Do you not like it?" I ask stopping in front of him. His eyes widen.
"No, Sang baby. I like it," he states quickly. I reach out and dab the flour on his nose before he can stop me.
"Good," I say smirking. He wipes his nose and sees the flour. Seeing my smirk, he laughs before smirking himself.
"You know this means war, right baby?" I laugh as I run away. I can hear his footsteps pounding behind me. I sprint down the hall diving into a room I know he can't follow me easily into. I close the door behind me before darting behind the bed. The occupant rolls over and looks at me, blinking their eyes as they wake up. It's pretty adorable.
"Peanut, what's going on? Are you okay?" Nathan asks me his voice deep and rough from sleep. It's not an unattractive quality if I do say so myself. Bad Sang, snap out of it!
