Certain words that we use in our daily vocabulary are meaningless without the existence of god. Words like divine sin righteousness are only the surface of the vast expanse that lies beyond.
Divine: adjective 1 relating to God or a god: divine forces. 2 informal excellent. |noun dated a priest, religious leader or theologian. -DERIVATIVES divinely adverb.-ORIGIN Latin divinus.
Sin: noun 1 an act that breaks a religious or moral law. 2 an act that causes strong disapproval. |verb commit a sin.-ORIGIN Old English
Righteous adjective morally right or justifiable.-DERIVATIVE righteously adverb, righteousness noun.
There are generally words that a devout and religious person may use in the context of their relationship with God.
When we speak we use was to give meanings to the sounds we produce. These words are defined by familiarity. When in foreign land we fail to recognise the language because of a lack of this familiarity. A lot of the words we use stamp from our familiarity with God and his nature. We may not be aware of it at face value but there are so many words that would be meaningless in a godless world.
God made man in his own image. Qualities such as Grace Mercy forgiveness does not hold meaning to humanity steeped in selfish interest. However we do show Mercy and compassion. Sometimes name is morality sometimes humanity. But in reality it is a reflection of the God nature inside us.
Another word that does not hold meaning without the existence of god is perfection. Whenever we are talking about an ideal situation it is made up of a bunch of assumptions. Even science which is based on data accuracy takes into account a lot of assumptions while reaching a perfect value. Of insert values come with the narrow margin. It is not so with God. God is perfect. It is not possible to experience a perfect God with a imperfect senses.
The Indian philosophy of Padma Purana identifies the limitations of one's senses in understanding the perfection of god. It states that no one can understand the transcendental nature of the name form quality and past time of the Lord through his materially contaminated senses. Only when one becomes spiritually saturated by transcendental service to the Lord other transcendental name form quality and past time of the lord revealed to him. Indian philosophy goes explain this nature through the science of God consciousness through is philosophy written in the Bhagavad Gita. But Court does not want us to philosophize.
God's perfection is revealed to us in the life and nature of Jesus Christ the Messiah who conquered death.
Other than perfection there are other words that cannot be defined without God like grace. We often confused Grace with kindness. The difference between kindness and grace lies in the very nature that kindness can be returned but grace can only be received. Human beings try to be gracious but God disgrace as a free gift of redemption to all. Is there a more perfect definition of grace then the cross of Christ?
Repentance is another word that only holds true meaning in a god conscious life. Human nature understands punishment but not repentance. What punishment involves the consequences of an action repentance lies in regret and turning away from one's own ways. In short it is both forgiveness and a second chance molded into one. For a human being repentance is a fancy word. We don't truly know when a person is repenting if a person is simply apologizing because we do not know the person's heart. How about what is impossible for man is possible with God.
Another word that fails to be substantiated without God's presence is Redemption. The Bible talks about the kinsman Redeemer who redeems slave or a land or a widow because of a tie of blood. That is a loose translation of the word. True Redemption is closely linked to complete salvation that we receive in the form of Jesus and the Kingdom of Heaven.
Peace is from God. Rest is from God. Hope is from God. We often extend these words to our daily lives. We bring in loose translations to make sense of these words as we use them in regular sentences. We hope in Falls images or idols that is set up inside our hearts in the form of luck coincidence chance etc. Show all of it God ultimately gets lost I am a struggle with life alone and the darkness.
What if a look around isn't it we ourselves were lost? God is exactly where we have left Him, engulfing us in his endless love. Isn't it time we turn back an experienced what is true perfection, true grace, Redemption and hope? Is it not the time to repent and turn to seek the face of God?
It's just a thought. You may not like it. You may not need God in your life. You may define life as Complex process live through chemical reactions. Maybe you like being just a probability and number. But God sees you as his creation. You are his miracle.
But ultimately there is one thing you can never experience without God. That one thing is the most abused word in the English dictionary. That one thing is love which we often confused with infatuation lust obsession and so on. But greater love has no one than this that one would lay down his life for his friend.
God loved us enough to come down from is heavenly seat to lay down his life for his creation whom he called his friend.
I'm not asking you to seek meaning to words that you are so used to that this a meaningless. Naini The God God itself is meaningless to you. But if you are meaningless to call he wouldn't sacrifices only begotten son so that whosoever believes in him shall live I'm not face death.
Hi this is my first post and I hope it makes some sense to you. God really loves US and he wants you to love him. To be honest it does not matter by which name you call him as long as you do call him. Jesus is not a religion is a way a path that leads to the AlMighty. Are you ready to walk on it?
