Blake's POV:
I can't believe she just fell for that, getting Valerie to sleep with me is going to be too easy, maybe I won't totally need the playbook
I look over by the couch and see Brody and Valerie in deep conversation, this could be a potential problem, I walk over and try to change whatever topic there talking about
"Brody, are there any parties happening this weekend?" I ask
"Uh.. I'm pretty sure Ashley is having a party on Saturday, I think she was going to invite you before-"he says but I cut him off before he can finish
"Val, you wanna go with me?" I ask in a flirtatious tone
"Who is val?..." She says trying to stay in a serious tone
"Come on, I want to have a cute nickname for you" I say pushing my hair back with one hand
"Okay, if your nickname for me is Val, mine for you will be assface" she says still attempting to keep a serious tone
"Well that's a little unappealing" I say jokingly
Val can't help but laugh but then she stops and says
"But seriously I will call you assface if you call me val"
"Vaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal" I say in a husky tone
Val's face turns a cute bright red, she gets up and punches me in the arm
"Well this was not as terrible as I thought it would be, bye Brody, later assface" she says as she starts heading to the door. Val gives one last wave goodbye before she exits the front door.
As soon as she leaves I realize something truly amazing about the structures of all these houses in the neighborhood, I run upstairs wishing that it's true and when I reach my room and look out the window, my wish is answered. I see a purple room with posters of bands like, "The Shins",The Kooks" and even "Rihanna".
"Yessssss!" I shout
Brody comes upstairs to see me doing a victory dance
"Are you okay?" He ask worried about my mental state
"Look out that window and tell me there isn't a god" I say
Brody looks out the window and it takes him only a few minutes to connect the dots.
"Don't do anything stupid, I gotta go" he says as he leaves my room and moments later I hear the front door shut.
I go into my closet and pull out the playbook that has been sitting in the closet for 4 months.
Me and Brody started the playbook together in the middle of freshman year. It started off kind of like a bet to see how many girls we could sleep with in the freshman class, but then we decided to write down the girls we slept with and write down the ways we got them to fall for us. It was basically a guide for how to sleep with the girl again if we wanted too or if one of us was interested in hooking up with them too. The playbook got more interesting when me and Brody grew into our manly features and sophomore girls wanted to be with us and eventually senior girls wanted to sleep with us. The book became pointless towards the end of junior year because I had basically slept with all of the attractive female population in our school and Brody was dating Kayla during the middle of junior year.
I flip through the pages and try to find a girl that resembles Val's personality but most of the girls I slept with were pretty vapid, I'll admit I slept with 1 or 2 nerds so having them in the playbook really helps. I look at Simone Tusk, she was not that bad to look at and she took a while to convince, I used tactics like saying "Love" a lot while I was around her and I even attended a lot of science club meetings which were as awful as they sounded. Eventually we did it in my car the night when her math team won a competition. I think I'll try the nice guy act with Val, ( she seems to like Brody who is actually a nice guy) but I'll still show her I can be a little dangerous.
My thoughts are interrupted by the sound of my mom walking through the door
"Blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake!" She shouts in an excited tone
I walk halfway down the stairs and greet my mom
"Sorry I'm home so late, did you eat?" She says
"Yeah, Im gonna go take a shower and head to bed, okay?" I say as I begin to walk back upstairs to the bathroom
After my shower I walk back into my room in just my towel, as I turn to my dresser I glance out the window to see Val, whose cheeks are bright red and she's just staring. I smirk as I get closer to the window
"Enjoying the view?" I say flirtatiously
Val snorts
"In your dreams assface" she says putting her hands on her cheeks as if she was cooling them down
"It's okay if you do, maybe you could come over sometime and I won't have the towel hiding anything" I say playfully
Val comes to her window and rest her head in both hands, while she is doing this i get a good view of what was going on under that shirt. Val see's me looking and she smirks
"Your not the only one with sex appeal" she says as she shuts her window and closes her curtains before she closes her curtains all the way , she takes the time to flip me off.
I get into my bed and that night I dream of Val coming over and confessing her undying love for me and how she was willing to do ANYTHING to be mine.
That morning I woke up to stained sheets and no Val.
