Once they were both inside the cabin, the atmosphere turned uncomfortable again. It didn't surprise Hermione, because they had never gotten along in the past and now they were constantly forced to be in each others presence.

'I'll er, wait until everyone's gone to bed and sneak back to my own cabin,' Hermione said, playing with a little loose string on her dress.

'Right,' Malfoy said, without looking at her. 'I'm going to change out of these clothes.' He walked into one of the other rooms and shut the door. Hermione looked around. His cabin was absolutely beautiful, just like everything else in first class. She assumed she was in the main room, with a huge fireplace, a crimson sofa and a little sitting area. She walked around for a bit and stopped to look at some of the paintings on the wall. She stifled a yawn. It had been a long day again and she was tired. She sat down on the sofa and closed her eyes...

just a minute, she thought. It'll take a while for everyone to go to bed anyway.

When Malfoy walked out of his bedroom again, in clothes that were somewhat more comfortable, he found her laying on the sofa, fast asleep. Sighing, he raked a hand through his hair. He wanted to wake her up, but decided against it. Maybe it would be a better idea to let her sleep on the couch, so they wouldn't have to look for each other in the morning and lose more time. He got into his own bedroom and went to sleep.

When Hermione woke up the next morning, she felt stiff. She tried to sit up, but her position on the sofa and her dress made it hard.

'Oh no,' she murmured, realizing she had not woken up after everyone had gone to bed and had in fact, slept the entire night on the sofa. Her head snapped up when the other door on the other side of the room opened. Malfoy walked out of the room, already dressed. Hermione blushed when she realized her already bushy hair had to be out of control from sleeping on the sofa and because of her still uncomfortable position on the couch. Malfoy raised an eyebrow and she could see the hint of a smirk on his face. Hermione rolled her eyes and stood up from the couch, readjusting her dress.

'can I use your bathroom?' She asked, a little embarrassed. Malfoy nodded, still glancing at her hair in amusement.

'through there,' he said, gesturing to his bedroom. Hermione quickly walked past him inside his bedroom. The bathroom was on the other side of the bedroom and she quickly made her way to the bathroom and shut the door. When she got inside and looked at her reflection in the mirror, she groaned quietly. Her hair was out of control, and she didn't have her wand to tame the mass of curls. She sighed and started to look for a hairbrush, or anything to help the situation.

When Hermione came out of the bathroom after quiet some time, Malfoy was sitting on the sofa. She had found a hairbrush in one of the cabinets and had managed to tame her hair a bit, but it was still bushier than it usually was. Malfoy glanced at her hair again and she could see he was still amused by it, even though his expression was unreadable. The twinkle in his eyes gave it away. Hermione sighed.

'Just shut up about it,' she mumbled.

Malfoy shrugged.

'You're wearing that dress again?' He asked, scrunching up his nose.

Hermione flushed red at his words.

'I don't have another dress,' she said hotly.

Malfoy shook his head. 'That won't do,' he said, walking into his bedroom. Hermione walked after him, curiosity replacing her embarrassment. 'the first class passengers will notice it immediately.'

He opened his closet and rummaged through the clothes in there. He grabbed some of the clothes and threw them onto the bed.

'Here, I already thought I had seen some women's cloths in this closet.' Hermione scowled. She had gone through so much trouble to get a dress and he just had an entire closet full of clothes?

Malfoy pulled her out of her thoughts by coughing. Hermione looked at him. He was looking at her with his eyebrows raised. She was starting to get annoyed by his attitude, he constantly made her feel stupid. well, maybe she was being a little bit stupid.

'right,' she said, and walked over to the bed. She took one of the dresses and went into the bathroom again. She changed into the dress and looked at herself in the mirror. The dress seemed to fit just fine. It was a dark red dress and she smiled because it reminded her of the Gryffindor colors. She took a deep breath and frowned. They had two days left. tomorrow, at night, the ship would hit an iceberg and sink. She walked out of the bathroom again. Malfoy was not in the bedroom anymore so she made her way to the main room. Malfoy was leaning against the table in the little sitting area and looked up when she came into view.

'Of course she chose that colour,' she thought she heard him mumble. Hermione ignored him.

'we only have two days left,' Hermione said, biting her lip nervously.

'I know, I can count Granger,' Malfoy said, sighing and raking a hand through his hair, messing it up. He seemed to be doing that a lot lately.

They were both silent for a while.

'let's just go to breakfast again, and hope that we find Ismay this time,' he said, getting up and walking to the door that led to the hallway. Hermione nodded and mentally prepared herself.

When they got to breakfast, they both looked around. When there was no sign of Ismay, she heard Malfoy groan. Reluctantly, they walked to an empty table and sat in silence while their breakfast was served. Hermione looked at the entrance of the dining area for about the sixth time in one minute when her stomach gave an excited lurch. She didn't have to warn Malfoy, because he seemed to have seen him as well. Ismay walked into the dining area and as soon as he saw Draco and Hermione, he walked over to them, a smug smile on his face. Hermione and Draco exchanged a glance and Hermione swallowed thickly. This was it.
