June sat in her assigned seat looking out the window because she had no one to talk to in there.
She looked around the classroom, scanning everything that was there. The objects, the teacher sitting at his desk, her other classmates taking to each other (including that bitch Greta and her posse).
The bell rang. That meant summer time. She pushed past people in the hallway to go to the restroom. There were way too many people in one school.
As she opened the door, June saw Greta and her two friends laughing at her.
"What are you looking at, bitch?" Greta sassed.
"I'm just trying to use the bathroom. Get the fuck off my back for once." June said.
June was using the bathroom when she heard Greta and her friends teasing a girl in the other stall. They kept calling her a slut and considering her as trash. They kept saying she didn't have any friends.
When she got out the stall, Greta pushed her out the way so she can get in there. She saw Greta dump trash on the girl.
"That poor girl." June thought.
"Such a loser." One of her friends said.
"At least you'll smell better." The other friend said.
"She's so pathetic."
"Have a nice summer, Beaver-ly"
"Hold on. Why would you do that?" June asked.
"Who put you into this?" Greta asked.
"I put myself into this. Problem?"
"Yes. Your parents actually had the guts to raise you. Whoops. Didn't your parents abandon you?"
June pulled Greta's hair so quick. "Take that back or you're gonna head butt the sink."
"No."
"Looks like you're having a concussion the whole summer." She started pulling her back.
"Okay, okay. I take it back."
"That's what I thought."
"Let go of my hair."
"If you say so." She dragged Greta on the floor then let go of her hair.
"Let's go, girls." Greta told her. The anger on her was pretty obvious. She left and so did her friends.
"What a bitch." June mumbled. She knocked on the stall to check on that girl.
"Excuse me." She said. "You're safe now."
"Go away." The girl told her.
"I just wanted to check on you. It's obvious you're not okay."
The girl opened the stall and got out.
"Man, if I were you, I would've got out and threw that garbage can at her." June said.
The girl chuckled. "Thanks for defending me. I'm Beverly."
"The name's June. Wanna get out of here?"
"Yeah."
They got out the bathroom and made their way out the school.
"Were you really gonna head butt Greta to the sink?" Beverly asked.
"Hell yeah. I would've done it without thinking twice."
"You're pretty funny. We should definitely hang out this summer."
"Yeah, we should."
"Well, I gotta go. See you soon?"
"Hopefully I run into you somewhere."
"Bye, June."
"Bye, Beverly."
With that being said, they walked separate ways.
Ten minutes later, June made it to her home. She instantly regretted that.
"Damn, I should've went to the arcade." June thought.
June took her house key out of her pocket and unlocked the door. When she stepped in, her 'dad', Ernest, was right in front of her.
He looked at her inappropriately. She tried to rush past him, but he blocked her.
"Aren't you gonna say hello?" He asked her.
She looked him up and down in a disgusted way and went past him. It wasn't a surprise that her 'mom', Olivia, didn't say anything.
June walked upstairs and went to her room. All she wanted to do was go outside or sign up for adoption instead of being in this hell hole you call a house. She always imagined living somewhere nice.
There were no good memories in her life, as far as she's concerned. All she thought of was neglect, sadness, and all types of abuse she's still going through.
Most people would give her family confused looks because her foster parents aren't African-American like her. They were both brunette with green eyes. June, on the other hand, had curly hair and the lightest brown eyes anyone has ever seen.
A few hours went by as she ate dinner, took a shower, and went to sleep. That's how it always goes. She doesn't really have the feeling to care anymore.
Y'all. I'm just gonna say it. I had no good ideas in my head, so this was basic as fuck. I don't know when the other characters are gonna get in the story. I still hope you guys enjoy. Vote, comment, do whatever you want. 😂😂😊
Much love,
