At this time, June was at the arcade playing Street Fighter. That was her favorite game besides Dragon's Lair. It wasn't a shock how she got there when she isn't allowed to.

Now here's the thing. June lied and told her caregivers she was going to the park. They don't allow her to go to the arcade because one, they believe she'll do that the whole summer and two, it's a waste of their money. This is mostly because June asks them for it. Little do they know she has her own money... best trick in the book is to never use your own. (She is one slick girl.)

It was all going fine for her until a boy rushed in there and tried pushing her off the game. He had black hair, porcelain skin, thick black glasses, and a goofy Hawaiian shirt. June could've sworn she knew him from somewhere. Probably school.

"Get lost, girly. I'm trying to play." The boy spat.

"I'm asking you nicely to step off. I was here first." June addressed.

"Do you really think I came for this shit?"

"Do you really think I came to run into someone like you?"

"Just step out the way."

"No."

"Alright, let's settle this." He turned her around so she can face him.

"What?"

"I say we take turns."

"Do you want to play the game that bad?"

"Yes! All these other games are boring and don't have as much action."

She sighed and rolled her eyes. "Alright. Go ahead."

"Finally- I mean thanks."

"Don't mention it." She went to another game.

After fifty minutes of playing, June decided to leave the place. As she opened the door and left, the boy she previously talked to got out as well to stop her. He said, "Wait." She turned around.

"You're pretty bitchin'. I'm Richie, but my friends call me Trashmouth."

"I can tell. My name's June."

"You know, you should hang out with me and my friends."

"What's in it for me?"

"To answer the question I'm about to ask."

"Which is?..."

"Have you ever been bullied?"

"Yeah. A bunch of times."

"By who?"

"I don't know you like that, but I'll just tell you. I get bullied by the Bowers gang."

"Hey, me too. I hate them. They bully me 'cause of these babies over here." He adjusted his glasses. "They think I'm a nerd. Why do they bully you?"

"My race. They bully me because I'm 'different'." She put air quotes.

"That shouldn't matter because we're all in the same world and they're gonna have to live up to that. You better tell them you're here to stay."

"Thanks. You're really helpful, Rich. Bye."

"See ya."

"Cool dude." June thought.

Oh, look. June just met Richie. There's only five Losers left to meet (She already met Beverly, remember?)

Anyways, I really don't know what to do with these chapters. I honestly think they are as basic as the titles, but I'm trying my best here 😊

Much love,
the author herself 😘
